Last night (June 4) was “The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3″ world premiere in Los Angeles, CA. The film is about “Armed men hijack a New York City subway train, holding the passengers hostage in return for a ransom, and turning an ordinary day’s work for dispatcher Walter Garbe into a face-off with the mastermind behind the crime.”
Check out some of the hunks who attended the premiere.

Denzel Washington
Leading man Denzel Washington plays Walter Garber, a New York City subway dispatcher whose ordinary day is thrown into chaos when he unwittingly answers the call of a subway train hijacker.
John Travolta, who plays bad guy Ryder, was noticeably absent from the premiere. He is obviously still dealing with the death of his son, which happened just 6 months ago. Washington was asked about Travolta at the premiere and he said that John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston are, “are doing as well as one can expect,” and that “It’s a process.”
He went on to say that working with Travolta was “great” and that “He is a wonderful actor and an even better human being. We talked a couple weeks ago for a long time, and he is doing as well as can be expected.” We wish John and Kelly all the best as they are still coping with their loss.
