The new show will be filmed in downtown Covington beginning July 21, the newspaper reported.
Warner Bros. representatives spoke at the Covington city council meeting on Monday about their plans and to seek permission to film in certain areas of the city.
According to the newspaper, Covington was chosen because of incentives offered by Georgia and for its film-friendly environment.
Bonanza Productions, in association with Warner Bros., will film 12 episodes in the town from late July through around April, the newspaper story said.
