The ladies on The View kicked off the discussion today by talking about yesterday’s Super Bowl (Barbara Walters said it looked like a game straight out of a movie and Joy Behar said she gained five pounds yesterday – I probably did too!). Of course, Whoopi Goldberg talked about the Super Bowl commercials (I laughed all over again!).
They did also discuss the whole Michael Phelps scandal right now. News of the World published an image of Phelps smoking a bong full of marijuana. They debated whether he should be held accountability for engaging in illegal activity. What do you think?
In the second segment, they talked about how late-night talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, poked fun at Rod Blagojevich’s visit to The View last week. Things got a little uglier when the discussion turned to Rush Limbaugh (he said that he hopes President Barack Obama fails). Naturally, this topic pitted Elisabeth Hasselbeck against, well, everyone as usual.

My brain is overwhelmed with a million thoughts after watching this, however I am lost for words. I have a new respect for Elizabeth Hasselbeck, as I previously thought that she only “played” the conservative voice on the show. Why she wants to even associate with uninformed, ignorant, hateful people such as Behar (WOW, just loved the juvenile “Well we won!! So, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Naaaa!”) is beyond my imagination. The three liberals on this joke, I mean, TV show, are so narrowminded and full of hate for people such as Gov. Palin that they REFUSE to see the truth of the biased media and our inexperienced new president. They wanted CHANGE, just not sure its the change for the GOOD of all of our great country that our founding fathers had planned. Of, course, if it all does go to hell in a handbasket, no doubt that the all-knowing Behar will place the blame on President Bush and Rush Limbaugh or any other conservative. We all know that the “Messiah Obama” is incapable of making mistakes!!
