Thomas Beattie, The Pregnant Man

This is a video interview with a transgendered Oregon man named Thomas Beattie who is pregnant (it’s complicated, but basically, he was born a woman, but identifies as a man, but he is now pregnant, since his partner cannot carry a baby). Here’s the video interview with Oprah:

I’m intrigued by this whole story; obviously he wouldn’t be getting as much press if he didn’t openly identify as a man. I just hope that the kiddo escapes all of the scrutiny that he and his partner are facing and will face.
