Only slightly off-topic this morning – as of the moment that I’m currently typing this, Hurricane Gustav is right on Louisiana’s doorstep. Brad Pitt’s Make It Right has been working hard to construct new homes for those in New Orleans who were left with nothing after Katrina just over three years ago.
If you pray, please do so for New Orleans and everyone else in Gustav’s path. If praying isn’t your thing, please think good thoughts. They’ve been through enough.
Let’s hope the new homes really can withstand the hurricane.

So far Gustav didn’t do much damaged in NO, it’s a category 2 when it made land fall this morning with wind up to 115 mph & lots of rain. I hope Brad’s project didn’t suffer much & hopefully people will still go back & rebuild the City. It will be a shame if people just abandoned their homes & livelihood. This is the time we need to show what America stand for unity & always lend a helping hand to the people in need. Some people from NO arrived here the other night staying with relatives. Our thought & prayers are with them.
I hope Brad & Angie’s home withstand the wind & rain. God bless.
As i told earlier,My prayers and thought to all people in NOLA and all the other people in need in other part of the world.
Hope Brad’s MIR project will successfully pass this hard exam and homes will withstand this hurricane and no one will get hurt by it.
I pray for all the cities in the path of harm.
My thoughts and prays are with the people of new orleans.Praying also for brad and angie house in the french quarter and the homes in the 9th ward.
Aw man that sucks :( I hope everyone is and will be OK. Makes me feel so lucky to live in England because we never get anything like that. My thoughts are with them.
My thoughts and prayers are with Louisianna and everyone along the gulf coast, as well as Texas. Here in Kentucky we were ready to receive 5k evacuees, but I don’t think we got nearly that many. I know ambulances from our state are down there, just like Katrina. Im praying that the new green homes can withstand this storm and also the Jolie-Pitt home does ok. It doesn’t matter how affluent you are, its never an easy thing to loose a home. And I know how much Angie & Brad love New Orleans.
Love and Prayers to our Pittwatchers in the Big Easy and the Gulf Coast.
