Thoughts on Britney’s return to the VMAs

After the great news that Britney Spears may be returning to the VMAs I started thinking about what I would love to see.

I think that if Britney does indeed hit the stage, it’s most likely going to be to perform “A Piece of Me”. I absolutely love that song – it gets a lot of airplay in my living room. However, I’d love to see a double performance. I’d like to see a medley of some of her old hits, maybe “Hit Me Baby One More Time”, “Stronger” which was always my favorite, and “Toxic” or something high energy, and then lead in to a full performance of “A Piece of Me” complete with dancers dressed and acting as paparazzi.

If it was well choreographed it could all work really well together, showing Britney’s rising fame leading up to the point where she can’t walk out her front door without someone sticking a camera in her face.
