It’s Election Day in the United States (can you believe it!?) and, this morning, the Today show looked at the colorful journey that got us to this point. It was incredible to think about how much has happened (all the people who announced their candidacy, for example) and the tight race to get the Democratic backing between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. All the campaign ads, the Saturday Night Live clips and the comeback of John McCain, whose campaign really looked dead-in-the-water for a while and, of course, his selection of Sarah Palin as his running mate.
I don’t know what’s going to happen tonight but I’m riveted. What about you? Has the been the election of your lifetime?
