On Sunday, July 26th, Tom Cruise and Connor Cruise grabbed a bite to eat together at the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi. I love how these two always seem to dress so much alike. They’re both wearing jeans, sunglasses and those white tennis shoes we always see Tom in.
Connor also showed his support for family friend David Beckham, by wearing a Los Angeles Galaxy jersey. Tom, Connor and Isabella were at his latest match on July 19th, cheering him on.
I wonder if Tom is going back to Australia anytime soon. I can’t imagine trying to divide my time up between L.A. and Australia and spending time with all of my kids! I checked the flights online and most of them said that the trip from L.A. to Melbourne were about 15 hours. Phew! How exhausting.

Interesting. Tom’s hair is much lighter than usual. I’m sure he has some gray at his age. Maybe he decided to go a little lighter on the color.
I also find it very interesting that Tom is still in LA. Katie and Suri have been without him in Australian for 3 weeks. I can’t imagine why that is. Tom’s older children are home schooled. He could easily put them on his private plane and spend a week with them and Katie and Suri in Melbourne. He’s not currently working, doesn’t run UA (Harry Sloan and Mary Parent do that). What’s keeping them apart? When Tom was in Germany filming Valkyrie for months, Katie and Suri were with him the entire time. Her parents even came over (I guess they had to if they wanted to see their daughter and granddaughter), but now that Katie is filming halfway around the world, Mr. C is in LA partying away at Hyde with David Beckham, at Beyonce’s concert, and other concerts. He’s been all over town on the weekends having a grand old time.
Meh. Maybe Katie doesn’t need him. She has a nanny with her and a personal assistant and a bodyguard. I’m sure the nanny is wonderful with Suri while Katie is on set for hours and hours. Still….wouldn’t it be nice if Daddy did helped out instead? Katie had no problem doing it when Tom was in Germany and little Suri had her Mom instead of a nanny. I guess what’s good for the goose is NOT good for the gander.
Being separated for weeks at a time is not healthy for a marriage or for Suri. They’re supposed to be a family.
Sorry….I know this is going to bother some people, but I really feel strongly about this. It’s just wrong and very one sided on Tom’s part IMHO.
Tom and Connor seem really close, thats a nice thing to see, but from some of the pics I have seen, Connor is also close to Katie and adores little sister Suri.

You know CR I questioned that too,but maybe he is just giving her space, if you looked back at some pics in Germany , Katie didn’t look happy. I don’t know what Toms obligations are, back in LA, but maybe Katie feels that she needs to kickstart her career and if it means her going across the world, well so be it. There is a possibility she doesn’t want to repeat the Batman thing again where maybe she had to turn down a role for whatever reason,because surely you don’t turn down a movie offer like that by choice. Ithink she is also finding herself again. It can’t have been an easy transition for her stepping into Toms very adult world , step mother to 2 teenage children, as well as having Suri so early on, plus the constant spotlight on them as a couple, and paticularly on her. I think she lost some of her herself there for a bit, when she started resembling VB, then she cut her hair so short and became so thin, there were times , that to me anyway, she seemed a little unhappy. Katies hair is such a big part of who she is and surely it just can’t be only that, but she looks happy and healthy, and really its good to see her in colours, not grey black and white as we were seeing her in, all the time there for a while. There seems to be a confidence in her, and she is quite gutsy for doing SYTYCD, which accented her natural s..y appeal which was so great to see again. Maybe one thing is leading to another and she is making her own interesting friends and contacts, I think all this is helping her grow and expand. I hope there is nothing sinister going on behind the scenes, because i like them together, but there are a lot of couples who like a bit of space, we don’t really know much , but thats what I think.
