Tom Cruise is back in New York, for a few days at least, and he has been a busy man. He appeared on The View, went on a date night with Katie Holmes and signed some autographs with Katie outside the theater yesterday (January 7).
Tom has a very busy January planned. He’ll be heading to the Golden Globes on the 11th (sans Katie who will be wrapping up “All My Sons”.). He was nominated for “Best Supporting Actor” for his role in “Tropic Thunder”. He’s headed to Seoul on the 17th (we think!) and Amsterdam on the 22nd. I have also heard that he will be arriving in London soon. More on all of those appearances later!
After Katie’s evening performance, the whole family headed back to their NY apartment and little Suri Cruise was asleep. Tom carried her inside for the night. More pictures below.

Why isn’t TOM holding Suri while Katie signs autographs after her performance in the play SHE is in – NOT Tom????
Tom has had too much plastic surgery done on his face for his Valkyrie premiere. Plus the botox and fillers. NO WAY is it just weight loss!!!
Katie needs a LONG vacation by the looks of her.
Good question? Why is Katie always hanging onto Suri when Tom could easily have taken her to the SUV while her mother signed autographs? Maybe that way, Katie wouldn’t have had to rush through the signing as if she’d rather be anywhere else. Instead, Katie rushes to the SUV and leaves Tom to sign the playbills. Hilarious.
She looks mighty annoyed in most of the pictures; particularly the second one where all of the attention is on TC.
Whats the big deal if Katie is holding Suri? She probably wanted her mother to hold her. Of course the crowd is going to want Tom’s autograph over Katie’s; He will always be a bigger movie star than she. Honestly, they don’t have to sign any autographs. The public is lucky enough that they take the time for their fans to stop and make their day by signing autographs. Katie knows that Tom is much more of a celebrity than she is…of course, I’m just speculating but that makes the most sense to me. Tom appears to be supportive by being by Katie’s side too. He is with her and supports her in her career decisions; that says a lot about his character. Why is there always bashing going on with TomKat?
So, if he’s supportive, why didn’t he forego the Golden Globes and be by her side at the closing night of AMS? Instead, she has to leave her closing night in a hurry so that he can be photographed at the GG after parties. Make no mistake, he’s supportive as long as it’s in his best interests. The woman looks haggard lately so life with TC can’t be all that.
