On Monday, February 1st, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes enjoyed a romantic dinner together at the Fasono restaurant in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Katie looks stunning in her white Stella McCartney dress! Tom Cruise looks quite handsome in his Costume National suit.
The family has been in Brazil for Tom’s “Valkyrie” premiere, but it’s not all work and no play. They were able to hang out on the beach and also enjoy a scenic helicopter ride of the city.
Today is the premiere of Tom’s World War II movie, so we should have pictures later this evening.

I was just at one of the fansites and your story is not quite correct. Someone who speaks portuguese was kind enough to translate an article that went with the pictures. Fasano is a hotel, not a restaurant. They were there for a cocktail party for Valkyrie then went to dinner at a restaurant afterward. It was business, not romance. Sorry, I can’t recall the name of the restaurant right now, but I’m sure if you look around, you’ll be able to find it. I want to say something like Porcano, but I’m not entirely sure.
Katie does look lovely. Her dress is very cute. My only complaint is that her upper body is far to thin. I also think Tom got carried away with the diet as well. He’s a bit too thin IMHO also.
I think they both look great, but I dont like that dress…But her face looks so relaxed and refreshed. I think she should do long dresses.
Thanks Charlotte. Blame it on the photo agency I deal with. They got it wrong! lol They tend to do that sometimes. I’m sure Tom and Katie found some romance somewhere in the evening.
I think they both look great and happy though. It’s hard to really tell what weight someone is by just pictures. It’s all up to the angle of the camera.
Kelly – yeah, I like Katie in longer dresses too. But I agree, they do look refreshed and relaxed.
I don’t know about longer dresses, I really like how much Katie is showing off her shapely legs these days.
Katie has some serious leg muscles going on! I don’t remember her legs looking that good in the past. As for the upper half being thin….that’s just her body type. We are all built different and Katie just so happens to be thinner on top than bottom.
