Tom Cruise was an honorary pace car driver at the NASCAR Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach today, February 15th. His son Connor Cruise, who was sporting a new ‘do, also got to be there for this fun racing event.
Tom got to reunite with the car he drove in his movie “Days of Thunder”. He sat in the car and posed for pictures before the start of the race.
As you know, his ex-wife Nicole Kidman was also in that movie. Her husband, Keith Urban, performed at the NASCAR event today and was asked by reporters what his favorite racing movie was. They were obviously trying to get him to say “Days of Thunder” right? Instead he stammered a little and said, "Uhhhhh … `Cars’?" His final response was the animated Cars movie.

Nice pics, Tom and Katies dad seem to get on well, and Connor comes across as a really nice young guy, who doesn’t mind getting hugged and kissed from his dad in public, thats so sweet.
I read where Conner also interacted with Keith while Keith was setting up to play. I think it’s great that the parents/step-parents behave in such a way that the kids feel comfortable no matter what the situation.

Nice to finally see TC spending some quality time with his son! Martin Holmes also present to benefit from the Tom Cruise gravy train!! I read that Keith Urban and Kidman donated over a million to the Australian wildfires/arson rescue. What a beautiful act of generosity. Yes, I agree Tyler that Kidman really did well for herself when she married Urban. I feel that she traded up big time when she chose Keith!

I’m going to sound nasty now, but why advertise the fact that you gave a million dollars in the first place, give it and keep quiet about it, she has so many millions anyway, she should feel good in her heart that she and keith can help so many people with her donation, without the advertising.
I hear what your saying Annie, but when have we heard of TC donating any if his millions to a worthy cause? I sure hope he does. He has alot and should donate some to worthwhile charities.

Kieth is a nice guy but he is no Tom Cruise. Nicole made her choice and if a drug addict makes her happy, that is her business. I wonder why she still loves Tom and talks about him almost 10 years after they split if she married a step up.
Good for them for making those donations. Atleast they did not make a press release or do it when their movies are about to be released.

Noone is Perfect Lauren even tom Himself We all know what happened two years ago on Oprah so we all trying to be Perfect But this will never happen and if she talks about him so do he ,said that he did’t feel married with her And requests from journalists not to ask about her,Some people loved to see Nicole haveing a Divorce or even Tom its so hard for them to see tom or nic move on in their lives and that is a fact

But Keith and Tom both at the event, seems odd. But maybe Keith is some nascar groupie, I do not know, dont give him too much thought, but if I do, I am with Lauren on this one, he is no TC. I think “nic” married down, way down under.

Nicole talks about the father of her older children with affection because she has class. I’ve seen her on numerous television interviews and there’s no indication that she’s stuck on Cruise.
I do believe, or hope, that she’s sorry that it ended up that way for the kids though. They were the big losers in all of this – as kids always are. I honestly believe they belong with her mother. I predict that Bella will leave CoS and join her mother when she’s old enough.
Hopefully, Keith is successful in overcoming his addiction. I agree, not good and I’ll give Lauren that one.
He is, however, very intelligent and quick on his feet. He would never give interviews like the ones Tom gives. AND, most importantly, he’s not full of himself.

As to all the stuff about Tom and Keith and Nicole, I think what really matters is that they ALL seems so much happiers now and isn’t that what really matters?
As far as the adults go, I agree with you. As for the kids, they were torn from their mother so who knows if your words ring true.
