Japan fans are getting the Tom Cruise fan treatment today! Tom and about 50 Japan fans set off on a special flight dubbed “Sky Cruise”. Tom chartered a plane from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to Osaka to promote “Valkyrie”.
During the flight, Tom, Katie and Suri chatted with fans and posed for photographs. How were the fans chosen? By a lottery system. There were about 3,000 applicants.
In Okasa, the fans watched the second Japan premiere of “Valkyrie”.
The last time Tom was in Japan was for the premiere of “Mission Impossible III”. For that film, he joined about 250 fans on a chartered bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka.
