Tom Cruise as the founder of Playboy? WORST. IDEA. EVER.

gay-tom-cruise-21.png I can’t possibly imagine a worse miscasting this this: Tom Cruise as Hugh Hefner. Shall we go over why this is wrong? Do we really NEED to?

“Tom knows of Hugh’s colorful past and thinks he would be the perfect person to bring it to the big screen. He also thinks the role would be a challenge for him, and would remind people of his versatility as an actor. At the moment people are concentrating on his personal life, and his marriage to Katie – but he wants to remind them that he can act too.”

What do you think of this? Shouldn’t they be considering a guy who, you know, LIKES WOMEN? Or is that just me? Plus, who the HELL would want to see this movie, other than horny teenagers who are hoping for a glimpse of sideboob. I see this more as an HBO vehicle, maybe Showtime.

I agree: The worst idea ever. I hate Tom and I don’t think he is the best choice to be Hugh… http://www.spymac.com/details?2295012

[...] –Tom Cruise may be looking to bring a biopic of Hugh Hefner to the screen. Well, not so much a biopic as a reimagining of Hefner’s life involving nude blondes, Thetans, and Cruise smiling a lot. [Snarky Gossip] [...]

The funniest part about this is Tom Cruise thinking he has VERSATILITY! REALLY??? and a monkey just sprouted wings and flew out my butt.

The only way he got this part HAS to be through his being the president of the SAG. It’s the worst casting I have ever heard of!

    ROFLMAO!
