I don’t know if I am the voice of reason exactly. I just say things how I see them. I also once heard an invaluable piece of advice about listening vs. speaking that I never forgot. “Do you know why God gave you 2 ears and only 1 mouth? It is so that you can listen twice as much as you speak.” I know that once you say something you can’t ever get it back and even though this is a blog and we are somewhat anonymous I still feel that we should be careful what we say and never forget that there is always someone on the other side reading our words.

Con mom does say the same thing all the time. It can get tiring. Lets all exercise some calm.

I also feel compelled to say to Lauren that you really ought to try to avoid making generalizations and blanket statements. You do it quite a lot and it really doesn’t help to bolster your position in these “debates” or whatever people want to call them. You stated that “some people here are divorced(no disrespect to anyone) such people are cynical about true love. Seeing rich people in love makes them a bit bitter. Denial that such love exists makes them feel better about themselves.” I myself have been married twice (which means I was divorced) and I only found out that true love does exist through meeting my second husband. Getting divorced did not taint my views on love and marriage and make me cynical to the existence of finding the one meant for you. I would imagine that I am not the only “divorced” person here that that would apply to.

And lastly to Jane. Noone has said (or at least no reasonable person has said) that it is ok to diagnose others from pictures and etc. So for you to say that you think that Con Mom has Alzheimers is inappropriate in my opinion. Just the same as it is for others to say that little Suri has autism based upon looking at pictures. It is beyond ridiculous in both situations. Perhaps you and all others here could try to make your points without being insulting to anyone? Just a thought.

I tell you, usually I never snap at people, but some people here can drive you crazy. Con mom, Puck and Tyler are the sane ones of the lot. You have not met the truly twisted ones who put a spin on everything tomkat and twist it to their imagination. And what fertile imagination!

I have never thought that this union was fake. Never. Mimi Rogers Tom’s ex said, ‘any woman would love Tom, any man would love Katie, why do people find it hard to believe they are in love?’

Others have a problem with scientology, those are quite many. They think Tom Cruise should take a fall for his church. So they are doing everything in their power to turn public sentiment against him by clinging on four year old stories and things he has already apologised for and truly put in the past. Lets see whether they will cling onto ‘he attacked Brooke Shields’ ten years later. They don’t have any new wrongs to cling to, so they concoct some and turn even simple acts like the way he is holding Suri or holding Katie’s hand into a crime.

Others are simply disgruntled people who want to take it out on any one. These people will always exist in life. They are unhappy in their personal lives and take it out on the world. They will always look for a way to take out their negative energy by hating strangers.

Phew, I am glad that is off my chest.
