Tom Cruise, Jimmy Kimmel Live Promo

If you watched the 2009 Oscars and didn’t take a potty break during the commercials, then you probably saw the Tom Cruise promo for Jimmy Kimmel Live.

I wish that Tom and Katie would have been walking the red carpet for something this year, but this promo was the next to best thing. It is hilarious!

It starts off with Tom and Jimmy (okay, 2 stunt men) falling through a window of a burning house. They get up, and Tom says, “Jimmy Kimmel, man you saved my life.”

Tom goes on to say, “I’ll do your show. But please save my cat.” Jimmy runs into the burning house, a big explosion occurs and Tom walks away saying, “I don’t have a cat.”

I literally laughed out loud! It’s so great to see Tom Cruise on TV.

…….although…when Kimmel asked him what of mine have you liked.. I wish Tom would have referenced….that Matt Damon/or Ben Affleck thing….thought that would have been funny.

  6. Tom Cruise on Jimmy Kimmel After the Oscars

[...] Cruise and Jimmy Kimmel came on. It was so funny and quite a nice surprise! You can see the promo here and I also have an extended one that I’ll post [...]

I find that commercial kinda sad. While Sean Penn, who starred with Tom in Taps (they started out together) was accepting the Best Actor Oscar last night, Tom was doing a commercial. Tom is better than that as an actor. Makes me sad. :(

That was funny, but in the promo, to me Tom looks like Dennis Quaid at times.
