Tom Cruise was on David Letterman last night, December 16th, to promote his film “Valkyrie”. Did I mention he is hard to keep up with these days? Wow, he’s just every where! I love it!! (The picture above is of Tom before appearing on the show.)
Letterman started off the interview showing some pictures that were featured in People Magazine. There was one from his wrestling days when he was 16, one with Paul Newman and of course, the Santa Claus on that I just love. Suri Cruise really does have a “what the heck are you doing dad” look on her face.
They went on to talk about first jobs and the reason he came there….”Valkyrie”. Letterman asked him about wearing the eye patch for the film and Tom said that when he first put it on, he felt a little nauseous because he lost depth perception.

Letterman asked about Katie Holmes and her Broadway play. I love how Tom Cruise always wants to talk about it and he always throws in the name of the play. I am sure he’s their best advertiser.
Tom was then gracious and a good sport about doing the Top Ten. The topic was “The Craziest Things People Say About Tom Cruise on the Internet”. Tom’s expression was GREAT! They were so funny and Tom definitely have a good time with this. Here’s the list:

TC looks great! I was surprised that Letterman didn’t bring up the controversy when shooting Valkyrie … didn’t people protest against Cruise playing the main character due to his Scientology beliefs? Obviously Letterman has been told what he can ask TC and KH, he didn’t joke as much as he normally does with other guests and didn’t get too personal either. TC is really looking good nowadays.
