It’s been 7 years since Tom Cruise has visited Korea. He’ll be taking a trip for a “Valkyrie” promotional tour on January 17th. He and filmmaker Bryan Singer will arrive for the premiere on the 17th and will attend a press conference at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on the 18th.
This will be Cruise’s fourth time to visit and his has quite the fan base there. Singer is visiting Korea for the first time and he has a good fan base there as well among science fiction and comic book fans. They are fans of his hit movies “The Usual Suspects’’ (1995), “X-Men’’ (2000) and “Superman Returns’’ (2006).
Sounds like a fun trip!

Tom does look very handsome! He’s lost a bit of weight and looks a bit more chiseled than he had been looking! I wonder if he had something done to his face. I’m thinking a little botox to the forehead and perhaps some juvederm or one of the other fillers. It certainly wouldn’t be uncommon in this town where it’s done all the time! Whomever did the work (if it was done) did an outstanding job!
Also wanted to say that you have to give Tom props for his work ethic. He has to be the hardest working man in show biz!! He tirelessly promoted Valkyrie here in the states. I mean he REALLY pushed hard!! He was everywhere.
And now he seems to be extending that trend overseas! UA really needs Valkyrie to do well to maintain their line of credit and Tom is absolutely doing everything he can to make that happen!
C Rose: I agree…… nobody can say that he does not work his tail off…..he truly loves his profession and gives it 110% of his time and attention. Wonder if Katie is accompanying him? Or, is that her closing night on B-Way?
It suits Tom to be slim, he looks good , and his hair looks good too. I don’t think he had anything done to his face , he’s got a few wrinklies, hope Katie goes to the European premiers of Valkyrie with him, hope she goes to Seoul too.
I agree he has an excellent work ethic. Even Spielberg once commended his work ethic and family ethic. He works hard and bends backwards to accomodate every one he is working with. He is also down to earth according to his co stars and treats every one including extras with respect. Hopefully Katie can accompay him over seas once AMH is over. Then again she needs her rest too. But they could make it a family tour.
To give him credit, Valkyrie has not been the disaster that it was predicted to be. The numbers are promisising.
