Life & Style magazine is reporting that the Hollywood superstar, Tom Cruise and pregnant Katie Holmes have split up. Is it true? Could it be?
Not true. That was Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ response Tuesday to the Life & Style Magazine article.
“It should be known that the story is 100 percent false,” Arnold Robinson, a publicist for the couple, said in a statement. “Mr. Cruise and Ms. Holmes are still engaged and are moving forward with their wedding plans, as well as planning for the arrival of their child.”
The Feb. 27 issue of the magazine, which will be on news stands Friday, says in a cover story that the public pair “plan to keep up the charade of their romance until after their baby’s birth this spring.”
Holmes, 27, and Cruise, 43, have been engaged since June. They announced her pregnancy in October.
“Despite the malicious fallacies put forth by Life & Style magazine, the couple is looking forward to a long and happy life together as a family,” Robinson said.
A representative for the magazine said, “We stand 100 percent behind our story.”
The story says its information comes from two unnamed friends of Cruise.
I don’t know, there have been a lot of rumors circulating about the possibility of a breakup between the two. It makes me wonder if they aren’t going to be announcing the “real” breakup a little closer to or shortly after baby Cruise makes his/her grand entrance into the world this summer.
When you think about it, we haven’t heard much in the way of wedding plans lately now have we?
I heard about this on the radio while taking my daughter to school. I don’t think the rumor is true. However, I do believe that eventually the two will be splitzville. Isn’t that the Hollywood Trend? Give it about 10 years or so.. lol
The average time a Hollywood celebrity relationship lasts is measured in months.
They probably won’t last a full year in my opinion.
