TomKat Hire Brad and Jen's Wedding Planner

I don’t think your wedding planner has anything to do with the success of your marriage.  It’s true that the planner TomKat reportedly hired has had some bad luck with celeb splits, but does that really reflect on her ability to plan?  I think it has more to do with celebrity marriages in general.  If TomKat were superstitious though they should have hired the planner from Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy’s wedding because they’ve been married a REALLY long time and still seem happy together.

Tom Cruise may believe in aliens, but he couldn’t care less about omens. We hear the pocket-sized Mission Impossible star has hired Hollywood event production company Along Came Mary to plan his Nov. 18 wedding in Italy to Katie Holmes. The firm, run by Mary Miucci, is the same one that produced the fairy-tale nuptials of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, and we all know how that turned out.

Miucci also produced Barbra Streisand’s wedding to James Brolin and Sean Penn’s to Robin Wright Penn, but she’s better known for her movie premieres. Elaborate affairs for such films as Memoirs of a Geisha (for which she sourced hundreds of thousands of silk cherry blossoms), Superman Returns (for which she built a scale-replica Metropolis), and the first two Mission: Impossible movies have reportedly earned her the nickname "the Queen of Theme." And you thought a guy who declared his love on Oprah and proposed at the Eiffel Tower was going to settle for something tasteful. Source
