Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise and Katie’s mom celebrated Valentine’s Day at the Magic Kingdom. What a fun way to spend the holiday!
Suri was dressed in her princess dress and got to hang out with all kinds of Disney characters. She held hands with Mickey and Minnie and spent time with the one and only Cinderella.
From the look on Suri’s face, she obviously had a wonderful time. Disney is the happiest place on earth and the whole family looked extremely happy.
I have just a few photos I can share and I apologize that they’re not very good. I am still going to be on the lookout for more that I have permission to post. More below.

is it a photoshoot? why are they in the middle of the green there with everyone watching?
yes…..i think this was a photoshoot or a commercial b/c there are lighting blockers and cameras……maybe Suri will be in a Disneyworld commercial! She looks too adorable. TC looks so proud. I have to write, why is Katie wearing ripped/shredded denim jeans. Those jeans would be perfect if she were in SoHo, NYC drinking a latte and shopping for antiques, not for sunny California. It would have made more sense to wear a clean line trouser jean or a cuffed kakhi, or maybe even those cute shorts she wore in Brazil.

Yup it sure looks like one. Poor kid can not even go to the Magic Kindgom like a normal kid.
You can always tell when Tom Cruise has a movie out….he overdoes the photo shots! Ycck…their clothes are even the same color!
They are in the middle of the green because that is where the pics are taken. Everyone else waiting on line can see.
That is how I remember it when I was there.
If Tom had the park shut down people would be complaining still.
Why would you turn your childs visit into a photoshoot? I few small photos would draw less attention , and be more personal. Suri should have been able to enjoy her visit like any other normal child.
Lainey gossip shows pictures of a professional equipment being used for the shoot. There’s a lifht deflector in front of Suri, which confirms that this was staged. It’ll be interesting to see if they allow Suri to be a spokeskid for the park, or if it was done for Tom and Katie’s own publicity.
Some of us have been saying for months now that the burn rate for Tom’s finances has to be astronomical so I wouldn’t be surprised either way.
BTW, if Katie’s part of the spread, she should have taken off those sunglasses. Seriously.
Tyler people record their visit to Disney however they can. Luckily the Cruise’s can afford to have it done by the best as their own personal keepsake.
Disney is a magical place and this would’ve been Suri’s first visit.

i just noticed that whatever tom & katie do, people always find fault or wrong with them especially tom, that is just too bad bec. here u can see that they’re trying to have fun, they’re trying to give suri a disneyland xperience, minding their own business and yet they still get a flak of it….the price of being rich and famous…but nevertheless they continue to live as normal as they could which is more important rather than keeping or hiding suri or the family just to avoid people and paparazzi which is a better and healthier option to live your life…kudos!

you know, the more I look at these pics the more I think they are ridiculous. If this was a photoshoot for a magazine or a commercial then I am ok with this, but if this is just the family on a private vacation to relax and enjoy the sights then this is absurd. If you are getting away with your family to spend some “down” time after you just wrapped a play and a movie world wide premiere then why in Gosh’s name would you want to be on DISPLAY in front of hundreds as both professional and amateur pics are being taken of you. Katie and Suri in the middle of the green are like animals on display at the zoo for all to gawk at. I mean really, this family is ALWAYS on display. Katie as she heads to her car with Suri in tow after an exhausting night on stage, TC on the beach after a movie red carpet premiere, I mean really when does this family have some much needed alone time? If they were going to enjoy the park then I think TC should have closed it down for half the day to have some privacy with his family. Afterall, they have been on “parade” now DAILY since last summer. Katie and Suri are being gawked at in the middle of the park like some sort of rare zoo animals for all to photograph. Enough is enough already. Its time this family head to the hills for some family alone time.
Photo shoots are very common at the Magic Kingdom. They are done all the time (for a hefty price) for weddings, honeymoons and families. I think the shoot for wedding/honeymoon is around $800.
Like Mary said, I bet they did this for a keepsake. It’s very normal!! But most people don’t have paparazzi and fans standing around and making a big production out of it.
I think Tom and Katie have probably reached the point where they are going to do what they want and let people draw their on conclusions. They wanted to take Suri to the Magic Kingdom and document the time with fabulous pictures. Good for them! People can scream “publicity stunt” but I don’t think they care.
It does not matter what or how or why the Cruises do things. There will always be the usual spoil sports who find fault in anything and everything. It is most unusual to see anyone WITHOUT a camera at any of the theme parks and yes, professional photo shoots are available to everyone.
Great photos of them and I hope they had a fabulous time in spite of being gawked at.
there were pics of the Cruises on Suri Cruise Italia before I saw them anywhere else, and on the pics it had Perez Hilton written on them, so I went to his site thinking maybe there were more pics, there wasn’t, but he wrote that fans of his site sent the pics in to him, so maybe the public took pics on their mobile phones and sold them, either way if Tom and Katie wanted to have Suri professionally videotaped at Disney, its their business, it just happens that they are famous , so everyone was staring, I had both my boys christenings professionally video taped, because you want special times recorded in your childrens lives, birthdays and other different occasions were done by my husband, everything becomes such a big deal concerning this family, truly.
I agree Jenna, TC is an incredibly proud father, good on him!
On Tom Cruise Forever site there is a video of the Cruises on the carousel and Suri feeding Tom, according to Mario Lopez from Extra the video was taken by an Extra friend, so it looks like people have been sending pics and videos of them to various media outlets, its not the best video ,but its cute.
She is a real princess. If they wanted a photo shoot to release pictures for a disney ad, then they would wait for the park to be shut down. Disney after all owns the place duh!
I hear that it was a valentine treat for Katie and Suri, good for them. I always love a disney treat.

If the shoot was done professionally as JUST a special family memory, why not do it in a more private location (yes, there are private locations at Disney World – we had our children’s pictures done!)? Why do it on the center green at the entrance where it’s sure to attract the most attention? It’s not as if money is an object! Sorry guys, but IMHO, this screams “LOOK AT US! WE’RE HERE!! TAKE OUR PICTURE!!”.
Stuff like this is why the Cruise’s get a bad rap. It’s all too overt and out there. JMO.

Charlotte Rose, you took the words out of my mouth. Don’t tell me there aren’t private areas in the park for photo shoots. I don’t buy that one for a moment. The truth is Tom Cruise lives for this. And, that’s okay, but why in the world would he want to subject his daughter to that way of life? I get that he’s proud of having a pretty little girl like Suri, but it’s beyond absurd.
Annie, I think Katie’s tired of it. That’s why she’s not dressed up for the shoot, and looking less than thrilled I might add. Maybe she’s waking up a little.
They are dressed for a day at the Magic Kingdom. A day that included Katie’s parents.
I am of the opinion that whatever Tom and Katie do they will be criticized for…………..Be that as it may. Celebrity or not, life should not be lived in a
bubble.
When Suri was a baby there was a quarter of a million dollars awarded to anyone who get get a pic of her by a website. Tom and Katie kept that child out of the public eye for 6 months and were blasted for it.
I hope they continue to enjoy doing things like regular folks because they are only richer.
Let Suri know that life as the child of Celebrity parents does not mean you have to live life as a recluse.

I don’t think that they should close any park so Suri can attend in peace, don’t you guys find it unatural for something like that to happen all her life, also if it was another celeb kid would anyone have really cared about the pics,and how they were taken, the headline would say….SO AND SO HAVING A FUN DAY AT DISNEYLAND,and that would be it, its not only the paps they have to deal with now it looks like it’s also people taking pics and videos and selling them.
Sorry, in Australia we seem to know it as Disneyland.

And I agree about the whole shutting the park down bit. I am glad they didn’t do that. But, it doesn’t matter what they do, they’ll still be picked apart into tiny little pieces.

Sorry Mary, but I disagree. “Regular folks” are not famous actors. They also don’t create a public spectacle in the middle of Main Street USA in what was an obvious photo shoot, IMO. Tom and Katie had the opportunity to have their photo shoot done privately (just as my husband and I did with our children) and they didn’t take it, leading me to believe they had their reasons for wanting it to be public.
No one is suggesting they live life in a bubble or live like recluses, but they seem to have a strong need to be noticed. Not sure what Katie’s parents being in attendance has to do with it. Still doesn’t make it any more acceptable that the whole thing was done so publically. Lets face it….Suri is a gorgeous child, and she attracts attention which they seem to like despite the fact that in many instances (not this one though) Suri seems unhappy with the undue attention. There are MANY WAYS of making things more private when you’re famous. I have many friends who are well known from my years in the industry and they manage to do it quite well. My opinion is that Katie and Tom enjoy the attention and do things like this intentionally. You would have NEVER seen something like this years ago from Cruise.
By the way, I don’t believe Suri was kept out of the public eye for 6 months. I think it was more like 3 or 4 actually and from what I understand there was a reason for that, but its something we don’t discuss here.
I didn’t suggest they close the park down for a photo shoot. If you have ever been to Disney World, you know that they open the park early for guests of their hotels as well as people who want an hour of private time for photo’s, etc.
People do it all the time. You’re not alone in the park and it’s not shut down. It’s something done for guests of Disney. We do it all the time when we take the children!!

I can’t feel sorry for Tom and Katie in this particular situation in terms of people taking their pictures and selling them. Its smack in the middle of Main Street! Of course the attention will be HUGE!! That was a silly choice on their part IF they didn’t want the pictures to end up on the net or in the tabloids. Did you know there are even private rooms right off the entrance where you can have a character meeting? There are!! Suri would have had the same experience, Tom could have taken his pictures, Mom and Pop Holmes could be there, and the only difference would have been that it would NOT have been a full scale photo shoot (photo equipment including light diffusers can be seen in some pics) with strangers who might sell their pictures standing around watching.
This is not a matter of singling out Tom and Katie. I would have felt the same way if anyone as publically known as they are would have done this.
Again, it it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…..it’s a duck.
You would never have seen something like this from the paps and the public years ago either!
There was a sense of decency in previous regarding celebrity………Now there is none. Anyone and everyone with a camera phone is a papparazzi.
In my opinion the Cruise’s are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. As Tom says it is what it is and all you can do is do the best you can.
Suri was seen in the pages of Vanity in their September issue. The next time we saw her was at her parent’s wedding…………November 18th 2006.
I just don’t understand what all the fuss is about anyway, I love all the pics of them at Disney World, Rio wherever, the more the merrier as far as I’m concerned, this is my favourite celeb family thats why I’m here Tom and Katie can’t win whatever they do, its wrong for them to hide,I think thats what used to happen when he was with NK, used to close down things, so unatural, there really are different standards for other celebs and different ones for Tom and Katie. the thing is I don’t want to start on some of the other celebs because I probably couldn’t stop.
I just found out that they do open the parks early for private photo shoots, between 5 am and 8 am. I have heard that Suri is a late sleeper, so could you imagine waking her up at 7 in the morning? That would have been one miserable day for the whole family.

These are great pictures, who cares their reasons. DW is the best, and they are used to crowds;) so I am sure being gawked out for Suri…she probably didnt even notice.

Tom needs Suri, I wonder what Tyler needs. If you don’t like it, then look away. Heidi Klum and Seal took their kids to Disney and took pictures like these, no one is tearing them into peaces. If you have nothing nice to say…..
