I wrote a response to T.R.’s contract was for a full season (I hope that can be a good thing and not a carrot and mule thing)
This forum isn’t exactly where I wanted to write this message but, every cast member, studio hands/grips, lighting, camera’s and so on deserve a huge hand for standing up for what they believe is right.
The naysayer’s, well, I will clean-up my comments to simply say this: strikes are a part of the American way. Union members are not monsters and should be applauded rather than shamed. The people who shame them selves, are only what they wish, but again they can do it. It’s the flip side of the coin, it’s still an American right? How about the Boston Tea Party?
Alas, presently the wheels and cogs of democacy are turning. Everyone has an opinion, and that person believes in thier view points.
Bejamin Franklin said that democracy is the worst form of government invented so far. It’s true, he said it, AND he was a socialist.
But he did his job and helped create this land of freedoms known to no other contry in this world.
If we quit thinking about who has done what to us and we can go on some TV court show (ratings is how they stay on), they can go and claim “I was on TV” . How pathetic is that. Fill up those court show with better broadcasting, and although a slump in the ratings numbers will shallow for a bit (I don’t know when it will happen), only then as the TV’s largess will return to the veiwers and hopefully common sense will prevail.
Oh and mother’s who have 6 babies with 6 different fathers need to quit working the system. I have countless situations in which I am in a patron and seen 6+ children given money to get some candy or whatever they want. School? No! I think the “mother” sends those kids away just to get rid of them so she can hit her crack-pipe, and get laid by someone she doesn’t know. AND this is the process: the cycle never stops. We need to tube tie them, take thier kids away (I can’t wait to see the crocodile tears and dramatic, by fake crying and common sense thrown out the window!
Sew these women up, a hysterectomy – absolutely! Fix it so these people quit getting welfare so they don’t work, and two, take the kids away to a boot camp environment so they can learn respect of others (personal respect before they can interact with the older kids who have learned the difference of respect older and each other.
I see, in my crystal ball a horrifying existence of adults needing care, geriatric, and qualdraplegic, bling, deaf and so on. Who are we going have to ensure that we don’t drop like flies at age 50? Why so young? Because of smash and grab, no respect for others. The ones who think that just because they exist, they god damn earn it. Query one some time. Ask a person who parks in a no parking zone or a handicap not posted in their handicap tag. Ask them why they parked there and inevitably, I would show that the response to the simple question: Why are you parking there? The response is typically “Because I can! It burn s us all up inside – lack of repect to elders, officers of the law and blatant disregard for the law. The age of the offenders run from 14 or so throughschool, or the drop out,
I live in a part of town where this type of behavior is noticed by super market security, and they say they can’t do anything. The parking lot isn’t our responsibily. Right in the front door, this guard watches, talks to girls working in the store. How do we fix this problem?
My opinion is one of a more agressive and image projection that the parking lot is an extention of the store (duh!) and calling the police, or attleast get the make and model car, 2-dor or 4-door, the licenses plate and verify a current inspection sticker and a un cut-up annual sticker on the plates of the car. Now, we know that each state has it’s own guide to presenting infor mation in motor vehicles. But the license and VIN is usually enough to indentify a vehicle. And for God’s sake, it something smells fishy, you a probably on the right track. I believe that presenting this information to local, county, of state law authorities, can be there to help.
S/Officers, remember that you are NOT the law, just a official within the City limits and property you are assigned to keep secure. Secure and Law Enforcement do have many similarities, but are NOT law. The only arrest are powers for a citizens arrest. This is a last chance/last resort.
Check local laws as to the proper deployment of stun guns, side-arms, shotguns,handcuff’s, no thumb or writicuffs. Having to go to court and explain overzealos in order to stop a suspect, will be examined with a fine tooth comb.
I write this montage today because in August 2008, I am going back to school. This time not for the police academy (Clinhed that one!), but this time for formal EMT training, and then on to join back in to the advanced course for Paramedic.
