"Top Chef" Gossip -- Romance at the judge's table?

A reader just sent me a tip to a post on Gakwer where several of the commenters are speculating on a blind item about a reality show host and his female co-star having an affair. Several of the commenters are guessing it’s Tom & Padma from Top Chef. Here is the blind item, from New York’s Page Six:

“WHICH TV host has such good rapport with his fetching female co-host that his wife has correctly guessed they’re having an affair?”

Obviously, this is all just fun speculating, but what do you think? Are Tom and Padma the couple mentioned?
