Top Model Anime Style

Thanks to Top Model LiveJournal, I stumbled upon winsquared’s Deviant Art account. winsquared creatively interprets his favorite America’s Next Top Model contestants as anime-inspired characters and the result is gorgeous! Take a look for yourself:

“I’ve always liked to draw but I never really know what I want to draw. Since ANTM is one of the few shows I watch, I thought it would be a great combination if I mix my hobby with the show I like,” winsquared told me via email. “Also, I like to send the drawings to some of my favorite contestants just to show I am a fan of theirs.”

He’s done several of the girls from the most recent cycles, including Cycle 11′s McKey Sullivan, Analeigh Tipton and Samantha Potter; Cycle 10′s Lauren Utter, Marvita Washington and Katarzyna Dolinska and more. He’s even styled a few non-ANTM models like Coco Rocha.

I think this is a beautiful and creative way to honor a contestant you are a fan of! I hope the models depicted can see this!

I have to disagree with you, Leah — I instantly recognized the girl and the photo shoot based on the picture/drawing.
Really amazing!! :)

the only criticism i have is that if i wasn’t told who it was i’d have no idea who it is supposed to be. the pictures are lovely but do not capture the different individual features that make these girls recognizable.
