Yesterday I chatted with Jennifer An, the bubbly gal from Philadelphia who made the final four in America’s Next Top Model. We talked about her future plans, her Top Model family and more!

How did you get involved in Top Model?
I was the biggest fan of the show and when I heard that they were having a cycle for girls 5′7″ and under, I had to try out! I went up to New York and was part of that crazy riot! I wasn’t seen that day, but went to the second casting and made it on the show!
Who were you closest to in the house?
I loved all the girls! But in different ways. I was closest to Laura, but you can be close in different ways, you know? It’s like Laura was my wife and Nicole and Erin were our children. I love them all and keep in touch with them as often as I can.
Who would you like to see win?
That’s impossible! I can’t decide! Can they both win? I’ll be happy for either girl, as they are both lovely people who absolutely deserve this amazing opportunity.
Which photo shoot was your favorite?
My favorite one was with with photographer Jonathan Mannion, the “Make Me Tall” photo shoot with the white dress. I loved the underwater shoot too!
I did really well with that one and my photo was amazing.
Were you surprised by your elimination?
It was a total shocker. It hurt so much. I almost blacked out and my heart completely broke in two. Erin was amazing. She was so supportive and helped me through it. If I had been eliminated by myself…aah I don’t even want to think about it!
What are your future plans?
I definitely want to keep pursuing modeling and acting. They are both my passions. I just got my SAG card recently, which is very exciting. I’ll keep doing what I love and see where that takes me.
Do you think you were portrayed accurately?
I got a pretty positive edit, so I can’t be upset. I was definitely bitchier than they showed! Oh my goodness. They could have turned me into the crazy one no one likes easily. But they didn’t. I don’t know why, but I appreciate that. They took the positive, goofy, fun parts of my personality and made me look fun, goofy and silly all the time.
