There’s some exciting news on the Disney home front. Disney plans to debut new Disney Digital 3-D versions of ‘Toy Story 1′ on October 2, 2009 and ‘Toy Story 2′ on February 12, 2010.
They are also producing a ‘Toy Story 3′ to a 3-D movie, which will be released June 18, 2010. Now this is very exciting! I love the Toy Story movies and am sure I’ll enjoy them even more in 3-D. I’m anxious to see what they story line will be for the third one.
When asked about the new 3D version, Dick Cook, chairman of Walt Disney Studios said, "We are committed to bringing moviegoers the best and most exciting 3-D movie experience, and we think they’re going to love seeing Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and all the wonderful ‘Toy Story’ cast of characters in an eye popping and dazzling way. John Lasseter and the animation team are putting all their passion and hard work into making this the greatest 3-D experience yet, and we’re excited to share their efforts with audiences everywhere."
Disney Studios thought it was a great idea to re-introduce all the Toy Story characters in 3D before the release of the third movie. Sounds like fun to me!
I lov eall of the Disney movies I have five kids and I know I have seen them all But I also think I own most of them.I am very excited to see what they have in store for Woody and Buzz next.Can’t Wait
