I just noticed this trailer for the upcoming Nickelodeon movie, Spectacular. Nikko is the next rock superstar and he plans to conquer the world with his band, Alloy. Courntey’s world revolves around her sequin-filled show choir, Spectacular. But Alloy kicks Nikko out of the band and Spectacular loses their male lead singer … leading Nikko to join the group.
Will Nikko be the force that Spectacular needs to beat their rival choir, Ta-Da? Find out in 2009!

its more like camp rock than HSM. i don’t even think this is a musical…
I don’t think it could ever match the phenomenon that HSM3 created, but it’ll definitely be some copmetition for Camp Rock.
Hmm. I think it would be more competition for Camp Rock than HSM. CR seems to be more the similar style. Even the preview is similar to that of the first Camp Rock. But either way it looks interesting. Too bad I don’t have cable.

Definitely an HSM-style movie…the songs gotta be catchy tho’…that’s part of HSM’s original charm….hmmm.
