True Beauty, the new reality show from Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher premiered on Monday, January 5th to strong results. The show was the number one non-sports choice for viewers, losing only to The Fiesta Bowl on FOX.

According to TV By the Numbers, 7.9 million viewers tuned in to see 10 contestants vie for what they think is a shot at being called “the most beautiful person in America.” The twist? The judges, supermodel Cheryl Tiegs, stylist Nole Martin and former MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo, are judging the contestants on their inner beauty as well.
True Beauty slaughtered it’s reality competitor, Momma’s Boys, which is produced by Ryan Seacrest and aired on NBC.
While True Beauty was a ratings winner, it was slaughtered by the critics. I hated it and so did the Huffington Post, Reuters and the Examiner. Such bad reactions to the show only makes me wonder how many contestants it will lost next week, when the second episode airs.

Alright, I’ll leave a juicy comment. This show is ridiculous, but addictive. I’m hooked right after watching a mind tingling experience with ‘The Bachelor’…ha! ha! Is it me or does poor Cheryl Tiegs look totally embarrassed to be on this show or just have watery eyes from pain for being one of the judges? In all, I’ll watch next week and I’m cheering for a Chelsea win! Don’t laugh, but I like her.

I love this show.. ok, I dont love it but I am addicted so I havent missed an episode. Im not really cheering for anyone but I am soooo glad Chelsea left. I cant stand her mouth, it freaks me out. What in the hell does she do with her lips??? My good lord whatever she is doing with them it is not sexy at all and all of that make up doesnt help her or her lips… thank goodness she is gone, I had to look away everytime she would be on the screen…

Ok I am 12. I had to watch this site I am addicted! I could not miss an episode for the world. But the most hottest was Lauren. But she was a brat. By the way I am a boy. Just so you dont think im a lesbind. But, how could the critics give it awful ratings? It’s probly just a bunch of old people.
