HBO has released a clip of the highly-anticipated return of True Blood’s second season. In the clip above, Bill and Sookie argue, with Sookie choosing to get out and walk.
Bill stays in the car with vampire Jessica, though she encourages him to follow after her. Even though Bill has been alive for 200 years, he still hasn’t figured out how to deal with women.
Meanwhile, there’s a scary moment as Sookie hears a noise in the woods. Suddenly, she sees a shadowy figure which chases after her and scratches her back with its sharp, animal nails. Will Bill come to the rescue in time?
So, what is the creature? Some think it is the mysterious Mary-Ann wearing a Greek bull mask. Could it be the “maenad” creature that Mary-Ann is supposed to be or something else?
The second season of True Blood will return to HBO in June.
