I’m soooo excited that Taylor Lautner is returning in the role of Jacob for New Moon, but how does the cast feel about it? THE SAME of course.
Extra TV caught up with Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria) and Ashley Greene (Alice) to get their reactions on Taylor’s big news. They also asked Ashley how she feels about the rumor that Vanessa Hudgens may be auditioning for the role of Leah Clearwater. Do you agree with her reaction?
I DON NOT WANT THAT DISNEY GIRL ANYWHERE NEAR ANY ONE OF THE TWILIGHT MOVIES. I DONT HAVE NOTHING AGAINST HER COZ I DONT KNOW HER PERSONALLY BUT THIS IS NOT HERS. i WILL STOP WATCHING THEM IF SHE DOES
THIS IS MADNESS VANESSA SHOULD NOT PLAY LEAH SHE IS TO GOODY GOODY TO PLAY THE PART OF A SELFISH LIKE CHARICTOR. LEAH IS ONE OF MY FAVE CHARICTORS AND I DONT WANT HER ROLE TO BE RUINED!!!
But that is my opinion and im glad the taylor is still plzying Jacob

i really dont want vanessa to play her.
not that i have anything against her. i just think that she may be a little imiture and young to play the role. she should stick to more “kiddy” disney movies..

why does everyone see her as this high school musical chick! that was just a character. She seems edgy enough to pull off the role. I say give her a shot first before knocking her down. How can you dislike someone you don’t even know!

i so agree with nextselenag because she does act childish and it really bugs me but i suppose that it would good to see her in a non musical because i dont think that she can sing but that is just me. But i still think that a movie this serious with this many fans and what ever shouldn’t bother taking the risk with her acting as leah or any one .x.
i dont want vanessa in the movie. she will kill the whole thing. i dont like her and if she makes it im going on strike! i love taylor lautner!!
I am so happy for Taylor and I really do hope that Vanessa Hudgens does get the part as Leah Clearwater. This could be her break from the HSM movies. I think she would be really good for the role.
I would SOOO sign your petition for NO vanessa hudgens….I don’t like her in movies or in real life….so its a big NOOOOOOO for me!
TAYLOR! YAY! WE CAN FINALLY STOP WORRYING! I’m so happy for him and i’m so glad he’s coming back as Jacob. I just love him as the character so much.
And No. Vanessa cannot play Leah Clearwater. It would be completely wrong. She doesn’t fit the part at all. I think we’re going to have to petition just as hard AGAINST her as we did FOR Taylor. Don’t let her ruin the whole series of movies. gahh.

i’m fine with the twilight actor, as long as they play there roll right it’s fine with me, but i can’t help but thinking NO to disney stars, and NO vannessa, it will ruining the pic i see dis movie in, well if it happens i guess it can’t be helpt, she better be good, or twilight movies (no books) will lose some fans. good luck with picking an actor. signed. abigail.
I am glad that taylor is back but just NO for vennesa being leah. I actually like leah i dint like vennesa in hsm and a lot of fans of twilight agree with me
there is a petition site which is against the inclusion of Vanessa Hudgens in New Moon. Most Vanessa Hudgens haters go there to voice out their feelings.
But it was said in the news that she had auditioned for Leah role. My classmates and I were thinking that if they denied it, it may happened that she was not qualified for the role…But who knows and who holds the truth…? Everyone is denying….
Im not Vanessa Hudgens hater but if I were a Director of the film, if I can see that most Twilight fans are against her, I would rather choose a new star. New actress that fits for Leah and which was never seen before,= in the screen.
ohh..please..ashley is just being nice…
