Twilight Red Carpet Premiere Recap!

Since most of us Twilight fans didn’t get to attend the premiere last night on Los Angeles, I thought I’d write up a recap and gather videos of what everyone else is saying!!

As the stars arrived they had to face a winding red carpet of fans who stood a dozen deep, all screaming for the Twilight actors. I heard that Summit Entertainment gave out 700 wristbands, so this is where they must have stood. Many of them camped out the night before but they got a special treat when they were visited by Catherine Hardwicke late Sunday night!

All of the Twilight cast walked the red carpet, along with Stephenie Meyer and a host of other celebrities including Demi Lovato and Aly Michalka.

Kristen Stewart actually seemed somewhat gracious! “You work so hard on something for so long, and I’m actually really proud of it, and this is what you do it for,” Kristen said “The tears, to see people crying in front of you, is pretty alarming. I just want to give them a hug.”

And Robert Pattinson thought the whole event was bizarre! “I left my brain at the door. It’s completely insane. You never expect it. … I’m completely deaf!”

I think Taylor Lautner had the most fun of the night. “I think I’m dreaming, and I keep telling people to pinch me,” he said. Supposedly an older woman told him that she was wearing Team Taylor undies and said that he can sign them!! Although Taylor refused on that one, he did pose with a ton of fans, taking pictures with them all.
