Twitter Wars: Ashlee Vs. Perez

Ashlee Simpson does not like Perez Hilton and she doesn’t care who knows it.

According to the celebrity blogger, his witnesses saw Ashlee Simpson drunk and belligerent at a party for Angels and Kings, a club owned by Pete Wentz.  She reportedly stumbled around drunk before picking a fight with Pete in front of many onlookers.

Perez Hilton posted yesterday,

“One of many eyewitnesses we spoke with tells us that Pete was in the DJ booth when Asslee ‘came up completely wasted and yells at him to leave. They fought, she told him he was horrible in front of a whole group of people and made him leave his own party early. So they make a scene and leave the bar.’”

According to Ashlee that never happened.   The pop star, who is definitely not shy about her feelings for Perez, took to her twitter page in defense of herself, her husband and her marriage, which she says is rock solid.

First, she opted to tweet to her hubby where she wrote,

“I had so much fun with ur parents last night,” she wrote. “Thanx for dedicating the dj set to me. Love you more magic. I miss u already.”

I’m assuming she did this first as a slap in the face to Perez, who has fueled rumors of spats between the couple and even breakups in the past.  After tweeting Pete, she set her eyes on the prize: Perez.  She fired off this message:

“When all you do is make up untrue stories-look in the mirror, do you even feel human?? Karma is a bitch. Your story is WAY off.”  To which Perez replied,

“I don’t wanna name names and get people fired but several of the people I spoke with work at Angels & Kings. I’m not wrong,”

The feuding continued, with Ashlee shooting back,

“WRONG. My husband is an amazing dj and was dedicating songs to me. We were just havin fun. Our love is amazing. Get ur own life.”

Well played, Ashlee.  Of course, the always classy Perez Hilton went on to not only mockingly suggest rehab facilities for Simpson, but also extended this silliness to Pete Wentz’s twitter page, saying,

“Sorry to hear what Ashlee put you through.”

Whatever, Perez.  I usually think you’re pretty funny, but this latest feud shows you are just immature.  Sticking to the facts and keeping the tweeting between you and Ashlee would have scored you some points, but since you didn’t I think the clear winner in this twitter war is Ashlee.
