According to Kristin at E! Online, two other members of Grey’s Anatomy have asked out of their contracts in past years. I’m guessing that means ABC didn’t let them out. But it looks like T.R. Knight is being let out, though nothing has been signed as yet. Kristin tells us about it in this video report.
Any guesses as to who the other two actors might be? Katherine Heigl seems like an easy guess, though I suppose it could be anyone. And will the ones that want out fight to be let out if ABC opens the exit door for Knight?

I’m thinking, if not Katherine Heigl, then Patrick Dempsey or Sandra Oh. Both have had other projects in the last few years. And I would think ABC would let Patrick out of his contract so they don’t have to worry about his car racing on the side.

From what I heard actually Ellen Pompeo was one of them. I think it was in some mag or something. They have her in a contract for two more years though. Im assuming the other one is Katherine.

my guess would be Sara Ramirez and Katherine Heigl. Neither has had much good writing and Sara gets virtually no face time. Sounds like GA is starting to hemorrhage and now that their top cardio-thoracic surgeon is gone I suspect the blood loss may be fatal. I say let the patient die with dignity

you know the more i think about it they should all be wanting out since no one has really gotten any quality story lines or writing this season… let’s hope this is just a weird post strike season and all will be better next season if there is a next season for GA

I hope no one leaves.. especially not T R Knight and Katherine Heigle… Yes the show started off badly this year but T R’s character as well as Katherines has so much potential that I hope thay stick it out… Greys just won’t be the same without them
