Tyra Banks to guest star on Gossip Girl

It seems Gossip Girl producers are trying to go all out in finding guest stars for the first couple of episodes.

Already guest starring on the show are Joanna Garcia and Hilary Duff.

Now, America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks is reportedly supposed to guest star, according to Watch with Kristin, and it will be a juicy role.

Banks will play Ursula Nyquist, a larger-than-life actress, Watch with Kristin said. Serena will get a job as a publicist and is in charge of handling Ursula at the premiere of the latest film — which obviously isn’t going to go so well. Do you think tempers will erupt? That should be fun to watch.

It will be interesting to see if they will overlap Ursula’s storyline with movie star Olivia Burke, who will be played by Duff.

Garcia is guest starring as the preppie Bree Buckley.

Gossip Girl’s season 3 premiere is set for Monday September 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
