Here are some more episode stills from Ugly Betty episode 3.05, “Ganny Pants” (I still love that name!).
Kimmie Keegan (guest star Lindsay Lohan) asks for Betty’s help in finding a job, Daniel tries a matchmaking service with surprising results in his “perfect” match, and Justin tries out for a Broadway musical.

Ignacio and Hilda seem quite proud that Justin is trying out for the show (or are they celebrating him MAKING the show? I tend to doubt it, but you never know).
The rest of the photos concern Betty and Kimmie. Two in a flashback, and two “today” – in Betty time, of course. The two set in the present are spoiler-ish for two reasons: they give away WHERE Kimmie is going to work (or try), and they inadvertently give something else away, which we’ll discuss after the jump.
I also want to add that Lindsay Lohan looks really good in these pics, and that’s saying something. I normally don’t go for the skinny type. But, Patricia Field hides it well, I think.

The copier machine attacks! What strikes me, if my guess is right that this is in the Mode offices, is the return of ORANGE accents, even if it’s only in the office supplies. I could be wrong, but this probably means that Wilhelmina’s reign over Mode is over. Certainly she’s still around, but things dont seem to be starkly b;ack and white. That’s just a guess, though. It COULD also be Player, I suppose.
AND, it looks like Kimmie could also be doing a stint in the cafeteria?

Sorry, but I’m not too excited about this storyline. I’m more interested in Wilhemina’s baby and Hilda’s relationship with the coach. I am still a huge UG fan and will continue to watch my Season 1 and 2 DVDs religiously. But I am extremely disappointed with the writers on the show right now. I read on Wikipedia that the show has been firing writers left and right and that the turnover rate was one of the reasons why Rebeccan Romjin has decided to become a recurring character (so it wasn’t just her pregnancy). I’ll continue to watch the show with hopes that things get better and that the writers get their act together and not get rid of great writers and actors who have made it what it is today.
That said, yes, Lohan does look better than she usually does these days. She really needs to gain more weight though.
I still can’t wait for the episode with Gio in several weeks.

Tom, the first thing I noticed was the orange accents as well. We can only assume Willie’s reign is over. And LiLo certainly does look a lot better compared to last weeks epi. And, I love that we get to see a new storyline with Justin seemingly doing [or rather trying to do] what he loves. And as long as Hilda is amazing as ever, I can’t wait.

I completely agree with TeamGetty. I continue to watch my first and second season dvds religiously, but i liked the first episode of the new season although it did have some minor discretions. Is it really necessary to have Lindsay Lohan on the show? I love the huge amount of celebrity guest stars featured on ugly betty because they have small roles, such as regis and kelly and soon to be mark consuelos. But Lindsay got a whole 5 episode slot, which really.. does Betty need an old high school rival to come? Id much rather hear about Wilhelmina and even Amanda and Marc. Besides the fact that Betty already has Christina. I instantly noticed the orange accents are back, and im dissapointed. I wish Wilhelminas reign lasted longer if it is over as it appears. It was different and enjoyable as opposed to Wilhelmina trying, what is she going to do if she gets pushed out again?

oh and does anyone else HATE bettys new wig. There is so much hair and it just lays on her shoulders, it doesnt look real and just makes her look not as cute as she used to be ;)

What does your ‘patricia field’ coment mean? How does she hid that lilo is skinny?
Betty’s wig: I dont get y Hilda never gave her own sister a makeover. Fin is Betty has braces but does she really need bangs? Red glasses? Come on!
