Here is one of the sneak peek videos for Ugly Betty episode 4.07, Level(7) with me. (Thanks to B&B)
Most of the previews concern Daniel’s near total surrender to Bennett, and Betty’s attempt to rescue him. However, this one is Marc and Wilhelmina talking about HER downfall, and it is the one that made me laugh the most.
There is violence – yes violence – which reminds me of the wonderful scene when Wilhelmina ordered Marc to “hit me, you little pansy!” This one is a little less provoked, although Wilhelmina does say the one thing that could bring Marc to violence.
Throughout the preview, Marc is trying to get Wilhelmina to get herself together and try to get another job, because their fates are tied together. (This answers my question about whether or not Marc would stay with Mode, apparently not).
Wilhelmina does gather herself enough to get a dig in about Claire, an incredibly funny one at that.
I’m really looking forward to this story line to provide a little comedy against the dramedy storyline of Daniel’s falling into the clutches of the Community of The Phoenix.
Ugly Betty airs tonight at 9/8c on ABC.
“She opened her mouth, and a cloud of dust came out”. I love the Mark & Wilhelmina scenes!!! I can’t believe Mark decked Willie like that though. lmao

Was such a great ep but the minute Daniel asked Betty if they had kissed i forgot everything else.Have to say no way do i think it was the eyebrows.Betty feels too embarassed to tell Daniel the truth i think,lol.Also now they have kissed,the writers and som audience members can stop playing the brother/sister card because that would be eew on anyone’s part to consider them brother and sister now.

I agree with you totally Shaz10 that moment between Betty and Daniel has definitely ended the so called brother/sister relationship cramp that people was talking about very slowly their relationship is evolving to something more then just platonic and plus you would never almost kiss your guy friend like that if you feel their is something more there between them.

And she didn’t flinch when she heard Matt had been arrested.Her mind was only on Daniel.And that is the reaon why Betty ending up with anyone but Daniel will never work,she puts Daniel first before any other guy, sometimes even her family.

I like the way you guys think, LOL. EM and AF did a beautiful job in that scene. I’ve long ago stopped trying to read too much into moments between them, but I agree, that last scene had anything but a brother/sister vibe. Daniel kissing his “sister” even in the most ridiculous circumstances? Gak!
My thing is this: the writers didn’t have to play it the way they did. It didn’t have to be Betty standing there. It could’ve been Natalie or, heck, no one at all and just had Daniel’s Molly fantasy. But, no, there was Betty, standing there telling Daniel to let Molly go, before he kissed Molly (Betty) goodbye. And who was there when the smoke cleared? Betty. Anvil? Yep.
They also could’ve milked that final apartment scene for comedy gold once Daniel found out he’d kissed Betty. They could’ve made all the gag-me faces and grossed-out noises you’d make if you found out you’d kissed your “sibling” and it would’ve been funny. But they didn’t. Instead, they seemed a little awkward, the way you’d be if you kissed your best friend and didn’t know how to deal. And I found it interesting that Daniel asked Betty if he’d kissed her right after she gave that really sweet reason behind her “B” necklace; it was like she was so adorable that he couldn’t help thinking about whether or not he’d kissed her. xD

You know what they say sometimes your real true love can be your best friend without them knowing about it. Thats why I love Betty and Daniel so much they dont realize yet that the person they are looking for is each other.

I’m going to be so disappointed if they don’t give us Detty now.They have started something albeit in really wierd sort of way .But if they go back and keep going on and on about brother,sister nonsense it would be such a slap in the face.If they think its brother /sister they should have followed through and make it as platonic as possible.But they haven’t ,so now i expect them to give us Detty.And i respect that other people ship different people but i wish everyone could see that Daniel and Betty are just perfect for each other.
