Ugly Betty Vodcast 4.10 - Part 1

Hurray!  We have new Ugly Betty podcast/vodcasts!  There are actually THREE; this one has Michael Urie and Becki Newton having a backstage moment with Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

I love the fact that Ferguson starts the vodcast hidden within his sweater.  It just seems to fit in perfectly with the usual Urie/Newton inanity.

The “interview” takes place in Newton’s dressing room.  They introduce Ferguson with much fanfare.  Becki asks him,
since he plays an orthodontist, if he has any cavities.  Ferguson says he does, then shows us.

They have fun with the cameraman, and Urie calls Newton’s dressing room “heaven for hookers”.

Newton has a little Amanda-like fun, asking Ferguson dental-type questions.  After Urie corrects her, the interview begins for real.  Ferguson lets us know that he was born in Albuquerque, NM, and that he worked as a T-shirt folder in a bookstore on 44th street (which Newton is familiar with).

Urie tries to get a scoop from Ferguson, asking him if anything “is going on” between him and Modern Family  co-star Eric Stonestreet; Ferguson gives the camera a playful look, then moves on.  They talk about Stonestreet’s size, and Newton says he’s “like Daniel Eric Gold-husky”  Heh.

Becki takes the opportunity to once more confuse Ferguson with a real orthodontist

This one was fun, and I like the fact that ABC is making such a big deal about Ferguson’s return, although I’ll bet his appearance is going to be about as long as Lindsay Lohan’s in episode 2.18, Jump.  What it shows is that ABC is making a real effort to include Ugly Betty in its Comedy Wednesday block.

UPDATE: Darn it, almost as soon as I post this, ABC pulls the video. My apologies. I will get another version for you as soon as I can locate it.
