As always, I’ll start with the disclaimer that Ugly Betty News is not a political Blog. But whither the stars of the show go, there we go also. And it would appear the stars of Ugly Betty are into politics right now.
So, it would appear that politically, the Ugly Betty house is divided.
We all know where America Ferrera stands. She’s been traveling across the country, campaigning for Hillary Clinton. If you watched Vanessa Williams being interviewed by Barbara Walters this past Sunday, it’s not too hard to discern that she, too, is a Clinton supporter.
But know we know at least two Ugly Betty stars prefer Senator Obama.
Will.i.am has followed up the wildly successful “Yes We Can” Obama video with a new one, “We Are One”. The celebs really come out for this one. Not only is Eric Mabius in it, but Freddy Rodriguez is as well. I had to watch it 3 times to make sure, but he’s there at around the 1:05 mark. Does he have a black eye? It sure looks like it. Mabius shows up at around 2:01, beard and all.
This one is a little catchier than the other one (and a little creepier in that cult of personality way). But, it is entertaining. Any time you can get Jessica Alba and George Lopez together, it’s a party.
The Ugly Betty set should be REALLY interesting in a couple of weeks. Especially if Micheal Urie comes out in support of Mike Huckabee.
I kid, I kid.
Hee, this should be interesting. Of course, everyone in the cast is far too mature to let this come between them. And I can’t see any of them, no matter who they prefer, acually disliking either of the Democratic cantidates. But the actual selection could make for a fun, night. Personally, I like both Hillary and Obama. Frankly, anything’s better than- well, never mind. This isn’t a political blog, lol.
Wow, Freddy looks like he shaved his head too. He looks, well…. let’s just say his new look may convert some Getty fans over to the Benry side!
