Well, I guess we might as well talk about other news now, eh? Amongst all of the other excitement today, the unrated version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith was released. Here is part of an excellent review from DVD Talk:
This “Unrated” edition of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” is five minutes longer than the original cut of the movie. However, some elements have been dropped and replaced with other elements. There’s a fair amount of changes, including: starting with a slightly extended dance sequence early in the picture. The Adam Brody character’s introduction is also later in the movie, as the original introduction has been replaced with a different domestic scene. There’s a bit more between Vince Vaughn and Brad Pitt that’s funny and worked well. An additional tiny bit with a curse is new, as the PG-13 cut was only allowed one of that particular curse. There’s also some additional dialogue, sex (slightly more) and action (including some changes to the final action scene) moments between Pitt and Jolie. Additionally, this edition of the movie sticks with the Pitt and Jolie characters throughout the entire picture. Some of the material added here would have resulted in an R.
The new cut of the movie didn’t seem vastly different and while it wasn’t much better than the theatrical version, the addition of some character moments did work in the movie’s favor. Where a lot of “unrated” DVDs feel like they have have a couple of random minutes back into the movie, this edition had noticable additions/differences and “felt” like a different cut of the movie – although again, one that wasn’t massively changed. Fans will likely find the alterations of interest.

JPF> I’m really not sure about the marrige thing, I keep going back and forth on it, I thought they were already married before, but now I’m not so sure, IDK, it’s hard to tell with them. It’s going to come out if they are married so I’ll just wait and see.
Bethany, even though I’m not one to have an issue with thm not being “legally” married, if you look at the wording of the articles, it really seems to point more to “no ceremony,” and that’s why I’m 99% inclined to believe they are indeed married but because they didn’t want the fanfair, it may have been simply them, and witnessess. My gut just keeps telling me “no matter what the press or even Jolie-Pitt say” I’m not wrong about this.

Swakopmund, Namibia :: Angelina and Brad Pitt confirmed Wednesday that their newly-born daughter Shiloh Nouvel will have a Namibian passport.
“Shiloh will receive a Nambian passport, so we shall return,” Pitt said at the couple’s first public appearance since the May 27 birth.
The Hollywood glamour pair spoke to local journalists at a press briefing at the four-star Hansa Hotel in Swakopmund at the edge of the Namib desert where Jolie gave birth by Caesarian Section.
“We couldn’t have picked a better place to have our child,” said Jolie, looking healthy and relaxed in a black dress. Pitt agreed: “We are very proud that our daughter was born here”.
Pitt said the couple had “done their homework” before deciding on Namibia as the birthplace of their first biological and third child.
“The health of our daughter and Angie’s was imperative. We’ve had absolute top-notch medical assistance,” Pitt said.
The couple reiterated their gratitude to the people of the sparsely populated country, which has come under intense media interest since their arrival two-and-a-half months ago.
“We are eternally grateful to the Namibian people,” Pitt said. “Namibia is one of Africa’s best kept secrets – until we came of course.”
The couple had been “afforded a lifestyle here we could not have anywhere else” and that Namibia has been “a wonderful place to be with our kids.”
The couple said they planned to remain in the country for just a few more days before returning to the United States. “Just a few more days. My mother is dying to see the baby,” Jolie said.
On the tight security around the couple, Jolie said they had wished this had not been necessary but felt “the birth should be done in a way that was peaceful.”
Pitt explained that having “a child with a bounty on its head” before its birth, had brought about the need for bodyguards to shield the family.
On future career plans, Pitt said he would begin work on the latest in the Ocean movie series in August while Jolie planned to concentrate on the needs of her three children – the newborn and four-year-old Maddox and one-year-old Zahara.
Oh! and there’s an article on People about the press conference. It looks like they aren’t going to get married anytime soon. Here’s an excerpt.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, in their first public appearance since daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt was born May 27 in Namibia, said on Wednesday that they have no immediate plans to wed.
“There is nothing in the air. The focus is the kids, and we are obviously extremely committed to the children and as parents together,” Jolie told a news conference. “So that kind of says it for us, and to have a ceremony on top of it is nothing.”
They also thanked the namibians ect, ect. Go to people for the whole thing.

LOL Thats ok, I didnt think this was a bad review though, just very matter of fact, and it caught my interest because of that. ;)
That sounded harsh and I didn’t mean it that way, Christina. I just love the movie and I’m tired of all the negative bashing on it by some reviewers. The clips are hot and we know that if Brad hadn’t been married to the ex and better movie would have been released, IMO.
I understood what they were trying to do. Tell a story in a unique way about marriage using the guise of and story within a story technique.
That’s a terrible review and I didn’t like it when I saw it earlier…here’s a better site with clips here:
