It looks like Wilmer Valderrama of, “That 70s Show” fame and not a whole lot else is in talks with American Idol ’s parent company Fremantlemedia North America developing a series in which he may possibly act. Well, he definitely needs the work, although, I liked CHiPs (an 80s show that is being remade into a movie) enough as a kid to give his turn as “Ponch” a try, even though I already know that you just can’t replace Erik Estrada. They are presenting ideas about both scripted and reality television shows. Really? I cannot even imagine what might come out of his brain but, hey, stranger things have happened!
