Vanessa Hudgens recently talked about how she feels about playing Gabriella, her character in High School Musical.
The Australian magazine Girlfriend asked her if there was anything that irritated her about her character. She said, “No, I really love what she became in High School Musical 2”.
She also had this to say about Gabriella: “In the second movie, you see her making hard decisions and becoming a strong woman. That’s one thing I’m very proud of. You really see her grow as a person.”
When asked if she could relate to her character in any way she admitted that she definitely does.
“Yeah, totally. I’m definitely all about the now,” said Hudgens. “I think she definitely takes chances on things but she’s a very strong person and I think I am, too.”
Vanessa is currently in Austin, Texas shooting the movie Will and will start production on High School Musical 3 in April. On October 24th, we’ll get to see what Vanessa’s character in High School Musical 3 is like and what her future is. Will her and Troy Bolton stay together? Who knows…..
Oh my gosh i cant wait until High School Musical 3. I hope Gabriella and Troy stay together. And i think Gabriella is a GREAT character. If Vanessa can relate to her i think thats pretty cool.
