Vanessa Hudgens Has Auditioned for ‘New Moon’

It’s not just a rumor anymore! Zac’s main squeeze Vanessa Hudgens has really auditioned for the Twilight movie sequel, New Moon, for the part of werewolf Leah Clearwater according to actress Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen.

Ashley is quoted as saying she likes the idea and would love to work alongside Vanessa: “I think she’d be great,” she told MTV.

Over the weekend Vanessa appeared with Twilight star Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, (and who I just realized is Sharkboy) for the CVS Pharmacy Reinventing Beauty Bar “Stuff You Must…” Lounge party.

Uh, citygirl MUST be some kinda wierd because I looked up those girls she said to cast.. theyre OLD. I mean, i’m sure in their day they were sooo beautiful but they are not the age of leah..
But i’m totally NOT saying i think Vanessa is right for the part because she is CERTAINLY NOT. Bringing a faous actress in the film would just destroy the image all of us twilight readers have put in our minds. even though Leah isn’t a big part in New Moon she IS however a fairly decent part in eclipse. and i’m sure people just wont want to see it JUST because shes in the movie. Oh, and by the way, they destroyed twilight in the movie. Edward was just NOT good looking enough. JACOB on the other hand, HE I could NOT get enough of.(:

im not gonna say all disney actors are only good for 8 year olds because they arent but, Vanessa in this movie just wont work. i dont think that she is fit to play this role in the movie but at the same time there arent really alot of Native american actors or at least actors that look close to it but if this is who the director picks then hey we will jus see is she brings it when the movie comes out

wow seriously?!? she is a terriable actress and is totally not leah clearwater. fyi disney stars are not good for any audience unless it is dealing with 8 year olds

Vanessa the Werewolf: Did She or Didn’t She?

Great. Exactly what Twilight doesn’t need: a Disney connection. Talk about terrible casting an an unnecessary distraction.

Not only is she not ethnically appropriate, she is – to any Twihard worth his/her salt – plainly NOT Leah Clearwater.

How about Jennifer Podemski or the gorgeous Jennifer Bobiwash? Get with the program, people.
