Victoria Beckham has been making big headlines in the fashion industry recently. With her coveted new Spring/Summer denim line, the theft of over 50,000 pounds of her dresses, her attendance at the British Fashion Awards, and now more recently rumors of her and Marc Jacobs collaborating on a fur line. Victoria has been spending time in Paris (looking fab as usual) and met up with the very famous designer to talk fashion.
Also tagging along was LVMH exec Edo Jao who tweeted “Well hanging with Vic B. and MJ is going real well, I think they’re talking about a line with fur. Launching pre-emptive PETA strike now.” According to Amy Odell from New York Mag this could mean many things.
Of course they could be talking about their own individual plans or really thinking of joining forces. If that was the case I’m sure what would result would be breath taking. Marc Jacobs eclectic fun style paired with Mrs. Beckham’s ‘Posh’ style would go hand in hand.
I truly hope this happens because it will be a dream come true. We have to keep in mind that Fall/Winter 2010/2011 is fast approaching and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are seriously thinking of incorporating fur.
