New York Magazine had the opportunity to pop by Victoria Beckham’s studio to see her second collection for her line, the Victoria Beckham Collection. Victoria took them through the line piece by piece.
Victoria says she launched into fashion because it’s something she’s always wanted to do and the timing felt right. She’s learned a lot and wanted to put all that new information to use with her new collection. It was one of the most exciting times in her life.
The customer is herself and every dress is made in her own image. There’s definitely nothing wrong with knowing what you want. And Victoria has such impeccable style, why wouldn’t she make something she’d want to wear?
Victoria’s knowledge about her collection is very thorough. It really should put her naysayers to rest – she knows what she’s talking about and she’s clearly passionate about this.
