There have been so many rumors circulating around about Victoria Beckham these days. She is a tabloid favorite.
She recently spoke out to put a few rumors to rest…like she isn’t pregnant, she isn’t joining the Pussy Cat Dolls AND that she isn’t doing one of Tom Cruise’s movies, like I had reported earlier in the week.
She also denied rumors about her starting a solo career. She said, “I’m not going to sing anymore – I’ve hung my microphone up.”
I recently read somewhere (and I can’t remember where it was) that Victoria has been accused of being friends with Katie and Tom just so she can land some acting gigs and further her career. She denied that and says that she actually enjoys their company and that they are good friends. She says she is not trying to gain anything career-wise with the friendship.
I do hope we see more of Victoria on TV and possibly movies. I think the girl can act…do you?

I like that the Beckhams allow their boys to be boys. When ever you see Victoria out and about she is dressed to the nines, but her boys are always dressed like boys in comfortable clothes. It is obvious that they do not use their boys by trying to dress them in fancy designer labels to get attention.
I hope those who attacked Tom over this rumour saying he is buying friends by giving them movie roles are ashamed of yet again attacking an innocent man over cheap rumours.
Lauren, lay off. People have a right to say whatever they want. You reserve that right for yourself, but not for others. You can be proud that you’re alienating a lot of posters whose opinions you don’t like. I’m disappointed in Julie for allowing you to do so, however.
Sorry Tyler if it seemed like I was attacking you. I have tried to tone down my posts and I have noticed that most people have done so too which I appreciate.
It is regrettable that I have alienated some posters. But someone had to do the nasty work of uncovering the intentions of some posters. Like I have said, I am trying hard not to attack any single person.
When I say that people have attacked Tom over rumours, I mean all over the internet. I have read harsh criticism of TC and his family over mere rumours. When the truth comes out, these critics don’t even have the decency to say they were wrong. This happens all the time. Like the rumour that Suri was appearing on Oprah. Many attacked TC and Katie for using her for PR. Yet they said nothing when she did not appear. Same goes for Suri’s ‘massive party’ with many stars, which turned out to be a family thing and Baeur Griffith who was supposed to be under TC’s thumb……. The list goes on and on. These stories turn out to be wrong. Yet the attacks will continue for the next rumour.
A nail has been hit on the head! “someone had to do the nasty work of uncovering the intentions of some posters.”
I have not read a single post that was negative, with the exceptions of person and those posts were directed towards other posters.
There are MANY posts full of opinions, which MANY of us enjoy.
FYI, the bit about Suri appearing on “O”? It WAS true. She DID appear at the end of the taping, which at the last minute was edited out due to time constants.
The “massive party” DID take place. We all read about it. I am SO surprised that you missed it.
The majority of the “rumors” are put out there by tc’c own PR team to keep tc and his homies in the press. That is NORMAL Hollywood doings.

So PLEASE stop the dislike of those that have and express opinions. Laugh and enjoy just like the rest of us do!

Thanks DonnerParty. I’m glad someone else realizes that the pettiness toward posters is uncalled for. The whole intent of this site is to share opinions based on observations. This whole PR campaign Lauren engages in on behalf of TC is absurd. It’s going to destroy this site if Julie doesn’t do something about it. Then again, maybe that’s Lauren’s objective.
I am sorry Tyler but maybe I missed that huge party and the hollywood stars who attended it, the pictures I saw had only family members. Wasn’t it supposed to be massive with all hollywood invited?
I will also not believe last minute editing of Suri. where is the proof? Lets stick with facts, she was not there on the show. Infact I was looking forward to seeing her. I notice that no one said anything about the Victoria rumour.
You say I am attacking posters, yet you call my posts PR and absurd. Notice that I have stopped calling your posts harrassment or bullying. Your whole posts do not respect my opinion when you state that every one is free to opine. They are attacking me actually.
Observation is different from rumours. There are so many rumours out there always relied upon to attack Tom and Katie. These rumours are nasty so why would Tom’s people put them out?
I agree let’s chill. But please do not attack me again whilst protesting posts not directed at anyone in particular and applauding freedom of speech.

Ah yes, the birthday party rumors. Everything from Cirque Du Soleil performers to the A listers who will be in attendance, all to rival even even the biggest Oscar night party. As it turned out, it was simply both sides of the Cruise/Holmes families.
I am sure that Katie and Suri accompanied Tom to Chicago and if they were in the audience for the taping it would have been seen by now and commented on by those who attended.
I understand the Oprah show has a wonderfully luxurious green room.
In the end rumor and gossip is always just that………..Rumor and gossip.
The amount of the above surrounding Tomkat is at times not only alarming vicious but laughable in it’s ridiculousness.
Wow, that’s interesting since all these blogs are based on rumors for the most part. Mary and Lauren, unless you’re part of these peoples’ inner circle, you don’t really know what goes on any more than the rest of us so what you spout is as much speculation as the rest of it. What makes you authorities on the subject? Do you work for them? I’m stunned.
Oh, and the constant use of “I’m sure.” is merely opinion. There are no facts to back it up. I’m sure this and I’m sure that means nothing.
there may be harsh criticisms everywhere on the net on tomkat, sure. even on this site. but is it fair to punish anyone who doesn’t think of tomkat as saints as lauren and mary obviously do? do you have to categorize people into fan vs non-fan? are those the only categories? if that’s the case, i pity you. i see it more as a spectrum, and you lauren and mary are at one extreme end and categorize as non-fan anyone who doesn’t share your canonization of tomkat. i thik it’s sad that the likes of tomkat are so militantly revered and defended. get another project. be aware. be aware of how the overwhelming majority of humanity lives, and you will find that most celebrities lead lives that are very very very different from ours.
btw, i don’t believe i made comments about the cruises buying friends. next time lauren, please stipulate who offended you exactly with what comment. you’d actually offend less people that way. and if it’s not allowed then quit. after all, you only see the best in people. why can’t you see the best of critics, b/c there are some points to all the criticism too.
go defend fidel castro! that’s a more fulfilling and occupying job, i’m sure, than defending tomkat to the nines!
Tyler: I have never declared myself as an authority on anything Tomkat and I am not. I have an opinion like everyone else and have not seen it necessary to attack anyone for theirs……not my style.
Like I said before don’t assume that my opinions on Tomkat are pre-determined because I’m a fan. The fact is that every blog site, blogger, tabloid etc had Suri’s 2nd birthday party as the party to end all parties and in the end it was simply a gathering of the Cruise/Holmes families.
I’m sure that Katie and Suri accompanied Tom to Chicago because the Chicago media and other outlets carried photos of them there.
I have never written a word about what goes on in Tom and Katie’s inner circle because I have not a clue! What I can and do respond to is the rumor/gossip and then the resulting information that proves the initial rumor/gossip wrong.

The BIG party rumors were not “rumors”. They were speculations. HUGE difference. Just because some basic gossip site posts, I bet “Suri’s b-day will be a kids party to end all kids parties.” Does NOT mean that they know or have heard what is going to happen. OR that they are even starting a rumor.
All of the sites that I read just speculated that she was going to have a huge party since everything that tc has done lately has been over the top. In comparison to his past relationships.
No one needs to say “sorry Lauren” when they are just speculating based on previous actions.
OH and according to the man many posts on the Oprah site, Suri DID come onto the stage at the “after show”. Based on the posts of those that were in the audience, KatIE brought her out to wave and then took her right back to the backstage area. Most likely so she would not get scared by the clapping and such. They must of agreed to that ONLY if it would not get on tape.
Suri’s first birthday was not over the top though.
If one is talking about TomKat in the beginning of their relationship, they were everywhere but over the past three years they’ve kept a rather low profile to the point of having where’s Suri stories.
Rumors did start about Sur’s 2nd birthday………How Katie and Tom were fighting over details, The A-list invitees etc.
I think it’s great that Katie brought out Suri to wave but the stories had them as part of the audience.
Thanks DonnerParty. We’re not news reporters after all. I think a lot of people are bothered by a lot of comments, or speculations, because although they may not always be 100% accurate, there is usually an element of truth. Let’s face it, this couple is not your average couple. They live a huge lifestyle and they seem to enjoy living it in the public eye, at least they do when they think they’re adored. Now that they realize maybe they’re not the idols they once thought they were, they back off a little. Maybe for personal reasons but also for business reasons because that huge lifestyle requires many many millions and they’re both relatively young people. In the end people like me who believe the Oprah gig was nothing but a PR stint will continue to believe so, and those that don’t, well, they don’t. Big deal. The point is leave others here alone. If it hurts to read peoples’ posts, read a newspaper.
It doesn’t hurt me at all to read others’ posts…..Love doing so and getting the chance to respond.
I however do take offense to posts like the the above from Jajorge which attempts to define me and my posts in a manner that I have not done to any post or poster here.
I find it interesting that it was reported by the tc peeps that tc took a plane full of “friends” up to Napa Valley for an overnighter.
But then the pics came out and not a single pic of either tc or kh among the Beckhams and all of the BEckhams BFF’s.
And now another “leak” of Victoria in a tc movie. Even though EVERY SINGLE TIME she denies it over and over. And says that she will NOT do a movie at this time of her life.
She really does get annoyed which tells me that it is not HER pr that is releasing the “rumor”.
Just makes you wonder……

PH: Victoria herself has talked about Napa Valley and Tom and Katie were indeed there. Here is a the interview with Victoria.
“Becks recently sorted a weekend away in Napa, California — famous for its fine wine — for Posh’s birthday.”
He invited TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES, SEAL and HEIDI KLUM and KATE BECKINSALE and LEN WISEMAN came for the tear-up.
She said: “We were talking about our favourite Cruise movies the other night. I love Top Gun. It has to be my favourite. Maverick sitting in the same room is pretty weird.
“It was a wild weekend. You know me, I don’t drink (she giggled) but it was a great weekend. They are such nice people.”
Some of the rumor and gossip starts on the internet and gossip mags and has nothing to do with Cruise or Beckham people. The fact that Victoria is rumored to be in Tom’s movie is an insult to Tom maybe a good pr for Victoria but not for Tom in my opinion…what will Cruise’s people get out of that rumor? A rumor about a movie, which the script isn’t even complete yet. Last time I checked Victoria can’t act or sing “live” to safe her life. If the rumor was about Julia Roberts then I understand.

Last time I checked Victoria made MILLIONS (plural) from singing. So SOMEONE with TONS of money was impressed with both her singing AND acting abilities.
The tc peeps put it “out there” that he is making a movie, it is standard to test the waters on his popularity at this time.
Tom is not making that movie yet but the fact that he’ll be in that movie has been “out there” since 2006, 2007! No need to use Victoria (who has no movie profile or popularity especially in Europe)! The tabs made up these gossips to sell magazine and blogs to bring in people because the name “Tom Cruise” DOES. The rumors about Victoria being in one of Tom’s movies started back in 2005.
Regarding Victoria, maybe the people who created the spice girls group liked the way she looked??
Victoria herself has “Admits she’s not a very good singer and can’t act” (google it).
Like I said she doesn’t sing “live” (never has) to save her life. She made money on the back of Spice Girls and now from brand Beckham. But she is a very good business woman.
