I heard this, but I thought it was only a silly rumor!
Victoria Beckham is going to lend her voice to a 2010 episode of the Nickelodeon cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants, People.com reports. Victoria will plat a British sea nymph, Queen Amphitrite, who is the goddess of the sea in an episode titled “Neptune’s Party.”
Victoria isn’t the only big name SpongeBob has managed to attract. Johnny Depp lent his voice to the upcoming 10th anniversary episode, “SpongeBob vs. the Big One.” Johnny will play pirate Jack Kahuna Laguna.
Victoria has always made it very clear she has no interest in acting. But doing a voice over for a fifteen minute cartoon would be fun and easy. It would also make the episode very special to the Beckham family, as SpongeBob is one of the Beckham boys’ favorite shows.
