Victoria Beckham to Sell Spice Outfits for Charity

According to the Daily Mirror, Victoria Beckham will be putting her Spice Girl reunion tour outfits on auction. The proceeds will go to the David and Victoria Beckham Children’s Foundation, which works to help children in need.

Victoria is hoping that the outfits, which were designed by Robert Cavalli, will fundraise over $2 million for charity.

“I love all the outfits – for the memories they hold and for how beautiful they are,” Victoria has said. “But there has been a lot of interest in them and I want to harness that for the charity.”

I think this is a great idea. It will give fans something special to remember the tour by (that is, the fans who can afford it!) and will help needy children in Britain.

As for the exact details of the auction, they have yet to be determined.

“Victoria is putting together various ideas for the sale. She would consider offers from individuals – for the right price,” a spokesperson for the charity said. “It’s time for any high rollers out there to get their chequebooks out.”
