The discussion about Mr. Huckabee's tv spot failed to focus on the real issue. I am a Christian, but to have an "accidental" cross or star lit up behind a candidate during the commercial will imply to some people(especially this time of year) that he is God's chosen candidate. The more his staff denies placing the cross, the worse it is. It may have been unintentional, but political ads are carefully edited and the staff had to know it was there when it was released. Implying God's favor for a particular candidate takes American politics to a place where democracy cannot survive.
