As I expected, I wasn’t able to catch Angelina Jolie on Nightline last night. When you need to get up at 6:15 every weekday morning, staying up past 11:30 to watch TV isn’t much of an option.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a full video segment to post, but here’s a great clip.
I love how Angelina talks about the importance of her family and that, while she loves the storytelling aspect of acting, it only factors in after her kids, Brad, and her UN work. I’m glad that while she enjoys her work she doesn’t let it become the only thing to define her.
And I think my favorite part is when she says that regardless of her own Oscar nomination, she’s really rooting for Brad more than for herself.

Sarahc, I was starting to think it was just me having the problem. I wonder if it is because of that redtagcrazy that is on the site now. Because if you sit there and watch it seems to be loading that stuff all the time. It is driving me crazy because what should take 15 min on Pittwatch is now taking almost 45 min.

Yeah I agree with Kim. Brad chose to be involved in movie business. While Angelina kinda was brought up surrounded by it, with her father being a oscar winner.
I believe Angie owns land in Cambodia but I’m not sure if there’s a house or not.
Press conferences look scary. I usually just see the pictures and they don’t really show the flashes but watching that interview where they flashed the press conference looked very scary. Talking in front of all those flashes. YIKES!
I truly believe we should enjoy every movie she puts out because there will come a time soon, when she won’t make any more. I believe Brad will still make movies, and be involved in theprodustion of movies. I wonder where they will settle down to. I think New Orleans. they own what, three houses 2 in Californian and one in New Orleans, plus the shack AJ owns in Cambodia. Do they own any other houses?
Mary Ann, I too am having difficulities with the comment part of Pittwatch. No idea what it can be. I live in Michigan.

I just love this woman, she is rooting for Brad, I am rooting for him too. She dose interviews so well she speaks her mind and there is such an honesty and love of family. Love that her priorities they have change over the years, kids 1st , woman to Brad then everything else, could this be what we have all been wishing would happen. I guess, they wanted love,honesty and trust in thier relationship first. It seem they have achieve that, so now they can move to the next chapter of thier lives.lol
I really hope he wins the Oscar, and if he does not I will not say oh its good to be nominated either….he deserves it and that’s that! I am tired of him losing when he clearly deserves recognition for this film. They all put a lot of hard work into it, so should Taraji Henson, they have been snubbed long enough. Lets pray for them..I dont blame Angie for supporting Brad, she has hers already. Plus the competition in her category is fierce so it can go either way!

Sherry, thanks for the video. i loved the interview. the interviewer wasn’t asking anything beyond the movie and the oscars. Brad is so lucky to have a beautiful and very smart woman who’s inlove with him. I do hope TCCOBB will do well in the Oscars.
Sherry thanks for the clip. I am also praying for Brad more than Angie to get an Oscar. Way off topic: I am not to swift with computers, but it seems for the last 2 weeks or so when I come to Pittwatch it becomes very very slow to get to the comments screen and then to try to go from topic to topic. I don’t have that problem with other sites I go too. Is any one else having a problem? Any suggestions are appreciated.
I watched the interview. Angie is so modest about her looks. I love to hear her speak. I wish he had asked about her next project as I wanted to know more about it. Still I am rooting for them (to win) and whatever happens they are definitely winners in life big time :)
