Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise are in Japan for some “Valkyrie” promotion. We saw the great pictures of the family arriving at the Narita International airport and you could see that there were a ton of fans and media there.
We now have a couple of video clips and you can see the craziness even better. In the video clip above, Tom is talking about what they plan on doing while they are there.
He said, "We’re gonna hang out. We’re gonna see some sights, you know, and we want to eat great sushi that they have here, and just looking forward to seeing some friends."
That sounds like a fun trip! An onlooker told The Daily Mail, "Japanese people love Tom and Katie", adding: "Their daughter is super cute – her name [which means 'pickpocket' in Japanese] is a bit funny but she is beautiful."
You can also see in the clip above, that someone gives Katie a purple purse for Suri. It was so cute to Suri grab the purse and immediately look inside to see what goodies there were. So sweet.

I recall all the controversy regarding Suri’s name, many denied that the name meant “pick pocket” in Japanese, and the tabs went crazy over the meaning of her name and how unfair it was to call her a pickpocket! Looks like a true Japanese person has finally put the debate to rest……Suri does indeed mean pick pocket!!
I feel sorry for Suri whenever she covers her ears and shields her face from the paparazzi and fans. Saw the video. My how she snatches the little purple bag from her mom to see what was inside. Goodness.
Is it just me or can you hear Suri say “Mommy” around the 1:06-1:07 mark in the second video?

……..That is funny how she takes the bag, but my daughters would do the same thing and I am tough, put up with nothing! Some kids are just that strong willed. And I wonder if Suri just woke up, she seems a bit sleepy, that would explain that mood/behavior too.
And not to mention,Katie was apparently the same way as a little girl, what goes around comes around.
Everyone comments about Suri hiding her face , she only does it with the paps , not with the fans, I think she’s very tolerant of the yelling , and having her pic and video taken ,seems content to be in her mothers arms, just checking everyone out, and when they are not directly in her face, don’t think she minds the paps either, although she’s aware of them.
OMG,OMG, just saw Tom and Katie at the premier of Valkyrie, and Katie has long hair extensions, she looks so beautiful with long hair, missed it so much!

Pamela – Thanks! Glad you like the site. I haven’t seen that cover and didn’t know about the supposed play date. I did post a rumor that I read that Katie and Angelina were supposed to meet up in Germany. I’ll do some detective work.

I saw the pic of Katie with long hair on People.com and she looks amazing! I just think the long hair makes her look much more youthful and refreshed! I hope she is going to grow her hair back out!
That is too great! The hair. Hopefully that night made her really melancholy, and she will insist upon growing it back… I could only find one picture, where are all these pictures?

Just an FYI: I was trying to find more pictures of katie’s hair, which i love! I went to comments on “another” website…I think I need therapy…some people say the meanest things!!

I just saw two pics of her with the hair extensions and my gosh she is beautiful again!! Finally, she looks her age, really young, sexy, and healthy. She has the money to keep them in all the time and have somebody maintain them so she needs to commit to keeping them!!! I had extensions for my wedding day and they looked amazing. I love a good extension! They are alot to maintain but if I had her money and the connections to have a stylist visit my home for upkeep and maintance I would always have them in. They make your hair look thicker and really sexy! She looks awesome. I hope we get more pics!
There seems to be the 2 same pics everywhere, it seems so unusual that there arn’t more, but whatever, its been a long time since I’ve seen Katie so gorgeous, and everywhere people are commenting the same thing, short hair is not Katie. Its almost embarrassing to think that I got so excited to see her in long hair even if it is extensions. Mary, Katie looked fantastic, hope she keeps them on until her hair grows out, please please please.
LOL Annie, I got so excited too. And I like her short bob when it is styled. I miss her long hair. I hope she decides to grow it back. She has such beautiful hair.
I have always thought that your hair can make you or break you, not only for Katie but for everyone, and colours too. Everyone likes her hair long, it does make her her look younger, vibrant and s..y (if i write the word I’ll go into moderation). Not many people liked her outfit, but I really did, I liked those 2 colours together on her and the shoes were gorgeous, not so much the tights, but I really found the whole look interesting and different and with the long flowing hair, I thought it was great look so vibrant looking and I actually like seeing something different on actresses, they all tend to wear the same styles with slight differences here and there. But I know I’m going to get really disappointed when I see Katie in her short hair again , I think a lot of people will, it lets her down badly.
Lauren: I too liked her short, angled bob. In fact, I loved it on her, but when she cropped it into that boyish pixie cut I was devastated. The razor sharp bob was sexy, european and hot looking, why she transitioned into that awful men’s tightly shorn haircut was beyond me. My first choice is that she grow it really long again, but if not then the angled bob was hot too but pls no more cropped mens looking hairdo’s!
Kelly: I know exactly what you mean, some sites scare me, one in paticular, people do write the most awful things, but I go there to see pics, but I don’t think you’re the one that needs therapy , some of those people definitely do though!
