I found that Katarzyna, a girl with tons of potential and a sweet personality, got really screwed on America’s Next Top Model. This video by JadeEmbrace below highlights a lot of the issues that Tyra and co. had with Katarzyna.
What do you think? Was Katarzyna treated unfairly? I know Tyra’s never been great at selecting girls with true model potential, but I can’t find a valid reason as to why Tyra never pronounced he name correctly or even eliminated her last week!

I completely agree. My conspiracy theory is that Tyra casts smart girls/women only to knock them back a peg or two. When they don’t agree with how she tries to put them in their place, they go, so that, in the end, I – Tyra Banks, know more than you do. I think Tyra equates superior intelligence with arrogance, and it obviously bothers her, but if that’s the case, why does she keep casting them? Only to feel better about herself or what?

Awesome video!!! I really believe they kicked her off for no good reason and Tyra needs to get over herself!!! I find myself not really caring that much about the show anymore…yeah, I watch but that’s about it….I used to be an ANTM addict….but sadly this is becoming more of a “show” than ever….I really just want to watch a real modeling contest, but ANTM will never be that…thanks to Tyra and her giant EGO!!

Okay first of all, it’s been like 2 weeks and I still haven’t gotten over the fact that they cut her. I don’t understand a single bit of the rationale behind it and I’m pissed. Katarzyna and Anya were always my 2 favorites and now Anya’s gotta stick it out on her own.
Tyra’s a total egomaniac. I really loved how Kat tried to tell her how to say her name properly and Tyra’s like, “Katar whatever go back to your spot, peon.” She’s a psycho anyway. Whatever Tyra, everyone hates you because you’re CRAZY and egotistical.

i totally disagree, her name was really hard to pronounce and i’m sure if y’all said it kartazyna would probably say it was the wrong way of saying it. so i tyra was not at fault on that area and i also felt kat was rude by always tryn to give the correct way of saying her name; this is ANTM and she wants to win so i believ that whatever way they decide to call her name shouldn’t be a problem for her as long as she gets the price in the end. so that probably vexed the judges…

Her name really wasn’t that hard to pronounce — the other girls in the house didn’t seem to have a problem with it.
People who make no effort to properly say a name are usually doing it as a passive aggressive thing ;P

I completely agree. Katarzyna was my favorite the whole time, and they totally mistreated her…her name was hard to pronounce but she said it to them so many times they should get it!

Not hard to figure out why anyone was eliminated this cycle; Tyra was determined to have a plus-sized model win. It also explains why Claire was eliminated, despite having won cover girl challenge every previous week and reward challenge week she was eliminated.

yeah… it’s really sad that katarzyna got soooo so little air time.. it really pisses me off.. i would have loved to see her more… and she told tyra that she could go by kate or kat.. but tyra preferred katarzyna eventhough she couldn’t pronounce it.. grrr….>.<

I use to like ANTM Im not from America but we watch it…. Tyra Banks is a nasty bitch and she should never have cut Katarzyna because she was the best girl and the best model…. I saw a different side to Tyra this season and I wasnt interested in watching the rest of the show so I don’t know who won because I was put off by Tyra’s egomania…what a catty sly bitchface…

And I that ”too sexy” thing it’s absolutely ridiculous! She’s a diva, she’s hot! what’s the problem with that?
The personality she has didn’t appeared because of the edition!
Its so unfair what they did to her, she was the best of cycle 10!
